Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleAdaptive Controllers for Permanent Magnet Brushless DC Motor Drive System using Adaptive-Network-based Fuzzy Interference SystemV.M. Varatharaju, Badrilal Mathur, UdhayakumarProblem statement: The tuning methodology for the parameters of adaptive speed controller causes a transient deviation of the response from the set reference following variation in load torque in a permanent-magnet brushless DC (BLDC) motor drive system. Approach: This study develops a mathematical model of the BLDC drive system, firstly. Secondly, discusses a design of the closed loop drive system … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 8, Issue 8 · 19 Jul 2011 · 6,948 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleIterative Process to Improve Simple Adaptive Subdivision Surfaces Method for Triangular MeshesNoor Asma Husain, Mohd Shafry Mohd Rahim, Abdullah BadeProblem statement: Subdivision surfaces were applied to the entire meshes in order to produce smooth surfaces refinement from coarse mesh. Several schemes had been introduced in this area to provide a set of rules to converge smooth surfaces. However, to compute and render all the vertices are really inconvenient in terms of memory consumption and runtime during the subdivision process. … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 7, Issue 7 · 30 Jun 2011 · 6,929 accessesView PDFCite
