Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractNOVEL IMAGE-DEPENDENT QUALITY ASSESSMENT MEASURESZahir M. Hussain, Asaad Noori HashimThe image is a 2D signal whose pixels are highly correlated in a 2D manner. Hence, using pixel by pixel error what we called previously Mean-Square Error, (MSE) is not an efficient way to compare two similar images (e.g., an original image and a compressed version of it). Due to this correlation, image comparison needs a correlative quality measure. It … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 10, Issue 8 · 27 Feb 2014 · 7,436 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractPerformance Evaluation of Stable Weight-Based on Demand Routing Protocol for Mobile Ad Hoc NetworkOon Chong Hsi, Azizol AbdullahProblem statement: A MANET is an autonomous collection of mobile users that communicate over relatively bandwidth constrained wireless links. Since the nodes are mobile, the network topology may change rapidly and unpredictably over time. Approach: A Stable Weight-based On demand Routing Protocol (SWORP) that uses the weight-based route strategy to select a stable route was created by Wang. But SWORP … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 5, Issue 10 · 31 Oct 2009 · 6,933 accessesView PDF Cite
