Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractHiding a Large Amount of Data with High Security Using Steganography AlgorithmNameer N. EL-EmamThis study deals with constructing and implementing new algorithm based on hiding a large amount of data (image, audio, text) file into color BMP image. We have been used adaptive image filtering and adaptive image segmentation with bits replacement on the appropriate pixels. These pixels are selected randomly rather than sequentially by using new concept defined by main cases with … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 3, Issue 4 · 30 Apr 2007 · 8,617 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractThe Use of Neural Network to Recognize the Parts of the Computer MotherboardAbbas M. Ali, S. D. Gore, Musaab AL-SarierahThis study suggests a new approach of learning which utilizes the techniques of computer vision to recognize the parts inside the motherboard. The main thrust is to identify different parts of the motherboard using a Hopfield Neural Network. The outcome of the net is compared with the objects stored in the database. The proposed scheme is implemented using bottom -up … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 1, Issue 4 · 31 Dec 2005 · 6,865 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractAssessment of Pulverised Fly Ash (PFA) as an Ameliorant of Lead Contaminated SoilsEdmond Gatima, Mwinyikione Mwinyihija, Ken KillhamFly Ash (FA) is obtained by electrostatic or mechanical precipitation of dust-like particles from the flue gases of furnace fired with coal or lignite at 1100 to 1400°C. About 95-99% of Fly Ash consists of oxides of Si, Al, Fe and Ca, about 0.5 to 3.5% consists of Na, P, K and S and the remainder is composed of trace … …American Journal of Environmental Sciences, Vol. 1, Issue 3 · 30 Sep 2005 · 7,014 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractDesign and Analysis of a Smart Multi Purpose Electronic Nose SystemMahmoud Z. Iskandarani, Nidal F. ShilbayehAn electronic nose system for multi application purposes is designed and tested. Our hardware design allows various types of sensors to be used for different applications. The system is capable of being interfaced to both analog and digital instruments with special filtering devices that isolate the system from surrounding signals. The design of the system is distinguished through the use … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 1, Issue 1 · 31 Mar 2005 · 6,937 accessesView PDF Cite
