Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titlePerformance Comparison of Passive Fault Tolerant Control Strategy with PI and Fuzzy Control of Single-Tank Level Process with Sensor and System FaultHimanshukumar R. Patel, Vipul A. ShahFault-Tolerant Control (FTC) strategy has gain maximum attention in recent years in chemical industries due to economical and safety hazards perspective. Targeting at the decreasing control performance of the single-tank level control process under the constraint of system and sensor faults, this article presents model-based Passive Fault-Tolerant Control (PFTC) strategy which are based on conventional and artificial intelligence control. The … …American Journal of Engineering and Applied Sciences, Vol. 12, Issue 2 · 24 Jun 2019 · 7,598 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleFuzzy Logic Decision Support System for Hypovigilance Detection based on CNN Feature Extractor and WN ClassifierInes Teyeb, Ahmed Snoun, Olfa Jemai, Mourad ZaiedFatigue and drowsiness are among the main causes of traffic accidents, just behind excessive speed and alcoholism. This paper deals with the problem of road safety. It attempts to present a driver vigilance monitoring system based on a video approach. This work aims at creating an assistive driving application employing eyes closure duration and head posture estimation as performant signs … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 14, Issue 11 · 22 Nov 2018 · 7,565 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleMCMC-Fuzzy: A Fuzzy Metric Applied to Bayesian Network Structure LearningBeatriz Wilges, Ademar Crotti Junior, Silvia Modesto NassarBayesian network structure learning is considered a complex task as the number of possible structures grows exponentially with the number of variables. Two main methods are used for Bayesian network structure learning: Conditional independence, a method in which a structure is created consistently with independence tests performed on data; and the heuristic search method that explores the structure space. Hybrid … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 14, Issue 8 · 24 Aug 2018 · 8,243 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleText Summarization Using Morphological Filtering of Intuitionistic Fuzzy HypergraphDhanya Prabhasadanam Mohanan, Sreekumar Ananda Rao, Jathavedan Madambi, Ramkumar Padinjarepizharath BalakrishnaText Summarization has been an area of interest for many years. It refers to creating a concise text of a document without any lose of information. Researchers in the area of natural language processing have developed many abstractive and extractive methods for creating summary. Abstractive summaries modifies the sentences and creates a modified concise form, while extractive summaries pick relevant … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 14, Issue 6 · 25 Jun 2018 · 7,871 accessesView PDFCite
EditorialOpen accessEvery word in the titleThe Rough Intuitionistic Fuzzy Zweier Lacunary Ideal Convergence of Triple Sequence SpacesAyhan Esi, Nagarajan Subramanian, Vakeel Ahmad KhanWe introduced and studied the concept of I-convergence of triple sequences in metric spaces where I is an ideal. The concept of I-convergence has a wide application in the field of number theory, trigonometric series, summability theory, probability theory, optimization and approximation theory. In this article, we introduce rough intuitionistic fuzzy Lacunary ideal convergent of triple sequence spaces via zwier … …Journal of Mathematics and Statistics, Vol. 14, Issue 1 · 31 May 2018 · 7,713 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleFuzzy ARTMAP Approach for Arabic Writer Identification using Novel Features FusionTanzila SabaArabic writer identification and associated tasks are still fresh due to huge variety of Arabic writer's styles. Current research presents a fusion of statistical features, extracted from fragments of Arabic handwriting samples to identify the writer using fuzzy ARTMAP classifier. Fuzzy ARTMP is supervised neural model, especially suited to classification problems. It is faster to train and need less number … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 14, Issue 2 · 7 Feb 2018 · 8,305 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleEnhanced Decision Support System Applications Based on Complex Intuitionistic Fuzzy Soft Expert Sets TheoryMalek Alksasbeh, Mohammad Al-kaseasbeh, Saba Al-Kaseasbeh et al.Decision making is one of the important milestones in the development of various real-life aspects. Decision Support System (DSS) is a computerized information system used to enhance decision-making in several areas. This study aims to improve DSS applications by extending two concepts of complex intuitionistic fuzzy sets and soft expert sets to propose the theory of complex intuitionistic fuzzy soft … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 14, Issue 5 · 27 Nov 2017 · 7,762 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleImprovement of the Reliability of a Series-Parallel System Subject to Modified Weibull Distribution with Fuzzy ParametersNeama Salah Youssef TemrazThis paper introduce a series-parallel system consisted of independent and non-identical components with lifetimes follow the modified Weibull distribution. Reduction method is introduced to improve system reliability. Other methods of hot and cold standby duplication are established to improve system reliability. A procedure for computing the reliability of the original system and the improved systems is presented when the parameters … …Journal of Mathematics and Statistics, Vol. 13, Issue 3 · 7 Sep 2017 · 6,943 accessesView PDFCite
