ParvathiProblem statement: In Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN), serious security threat is caused by node capture attacks where an adversary gains full control over a sensor node through direct physical access. Approach: This creates a high risk of data confidentiality. Results: We propose a secure authentication technique for data aggregation in WSN. During first round of data aggregation, the aggregator upon … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 8, Issue 2 · 24 Jan 2012 · 7,286 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessAll words, across the recordA Switching Mechanism Detection to Reduce Complexity in Multiuser Detection for DS-CDMA SystemsRekha Agarwal, B. V.R. Reddy, K. K. AggarwalWe present a reduced complexity switching mechanism which uses either matched filter or Parallel Interference Cancellation (PIC) detector based on channel characteristics. The main criterion of taking PIC detector is that it has less Bit Error Rate (BER) and less processing delay than other nonlinear multiuser detectors. This proposed detector reduces overall complexity while maintaining the same performance as PIC … …Journal of Mathematics and Statistics, Vol. 2, Issue 2 · 30 Jun 2007 · 6,641 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessAll words, across the recordColor Image Reconstruction Using A New R'G'I ModelAkram A. Moustafa, Ziad A. AlqadiProblem statement: A new color model for digital image was discussed; this model can be used to separate low and high frequencies in the image without loosing any information from the image. Approach: A comparative study between different color models (RGB, HSI) applied to a very large microscopic image analysis and the proposed model was presented. Such analysis of different … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 5, Issue 4 · 30 Apr 2009 · 7,486 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessAll words, across the recordFault Detection of 3-Phase VSI using Wavelet-Fuzzy AlgorithmM. Rozailan Mamat, M. Rizon, M. S. KhannicheThe good knowledge and information about the fault mode behaviour of the PWM voltage source inverter is important to improve system design, protection and fault tolerant control. This paper develops a real-time condition-monitoring algorithm for 3-phase Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) inverter in fuzzy speed controlled induction machine. It is designed to detect and identify the transistor open-circuit fault and an … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 3, Issue 1 · 31 Jan 2006 · 7,956 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessAll words, across the recordDetection of HCV Components and Pathological Reactions in Apoptotic Hepatocytes from Chronically HCV-infected PatientsViviana Falcón, Nelson Acosta-Rivero, Mineko Shibayama et al.Analysis of Hepatitis C Virus (HCV)-infected hepatocytes at the cellular level may contribute to elucidate the mechanisms of HCV pathogenesis. In this work, the presence of HCV components and pathological reactions in apoptotic hepatocytes from chronic HCV-infected patients were studied by electron microscopy and confocal microscopy. Eight samples of liver biopsies from patients with chronic hepatitis C were studied by … …American Journal of Infectious Diseases, Vol. 1, Issue 1 · 31 Mar 2005 · 6,907 accessesView PDF Cite
