InvestigationOpen accessEvery word in the titleDevelopment of Genetic Constructions for Exctocytosis ControlIrina Nikolaevna Dominova, Vitaly Anvarovich Kasymov, Ekaterina Vladimirovna Silina et al.A fragment of the research project devoted to the development of genetic control of exocytosis is presented in the work, which can further ensure the success of targeted therapy of various diseases, including neurodegenerative ones. For the purpose of specific transfection of intracellular cascades in astrocytes in vivo, we have developed an experimental sample of the reagent kit. The latter … …OnLine Journal of Biological Sciences, Vol. 18, Issue 2 · 29 Jan 2018 · 7,310 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleA New Experimental Method for Generating Locus of Control using a Wooden LabyrinthKatherine E. Riley, Maureen A. Sullivan, Charles I. AbramsonThe labyrinth was investigated as a means of generating stimuli in a locus of control paradigm. The experiment consisted of 56 undergraduates. Following completion of the Rotter I-E locus of control measure, participants negotiated a steel ball through a series of 44 obstacles over several trials. Analyses revealed evidence of greater persistence in participants with an internal locus of control … …Journal of Social Sciences, Vol. 13, Issue 3 · 23 Aug 2017 · 7,961 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleA Hybrid Approach to Process Planning: The Urban Traffic Controller ExampleJimoh Falilat Olaitan, Simon Parkinson, Thomas Leo McCluskeyAutomated planning and scheduling are increasingly utilised in solving evsery day planning task. Planning in domains with continuous numeric changes present certain limitations and tremendous challenges to advanced planning algorithms. There are many pertinent examples to the engineering community; however, a case study is provided through the urban traffic controller domain. This paper introduce a novel hybrid approach to state-space … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 13, Issue 8 · 23 Aug 2017 · 7,484 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleTesting by Non-Destructive ControlRelly Victoria Virgil Petrescu, Raffaella Aversa, Bilal Akash et al.This paper describes an application of industrial robots that gain ground mainly in the aerospace industry. It is a TTT manipulator whose task is to automatically position the end-effector, in this case a complex sensor system and a eddy-current probe in the position set by the software application for testing by non-destructive ultrasound control of tickets and bars of titanium, … …American Journal of Engineering and Applied Sciences, Vol. 10, Issue 2 · 5 Jun 2017 · 8,698 accessesView PDFCite

Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleTrajectory Tracking Control of UR5 Robot Manipulator Using Fuzzy Gain Scheduling Terminal Sliding Mode ControllerAndualem Welabo, Gebremichael TesfamariamrIn dealing with the trajectory tracking control of robotic manipulator many scholars have had to work in a sliding mode controller. However, SMC has two major limitations one is chattering the other is asymptotical convergence. The chattering problem occurs in traditional SMC due to the switching function of the discontinuous controller and the constant gain parameter of K. Though in … …Journal of Mechatronics and Robotics, Vol. 4, Issue 1 · 24 Jul 2020 · 11,717 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleReal-Time Fuzzy Logic Control of Two-Link Flexible ManipulatorsJimoh Olarewaju Pedro, Juan-Paul HynekThis study investigates the development of a Fuzzy Logic Controller (FLC) for tracking a sinusoidal wave trajectory and suppressing the vibration of a Two Link Flexible Manipulator (TLFM). The TLFM was modeled using Lagrange's formalism and the Assumed Mode Method (AMM). A three-part apparatus consisting of a TLFM mathematical model, a real-world TLFM, and control software was designed and implemented. … …Journal of Mechatronics and Robotics, Vol. 7, Issue 1 · 11 May 2023 · 6,169 accessesView PDFCite
Review ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleExploitation of Battery Energy Storage in Load Frequency Control -A Literature SurveyAhmed Zurfi, Jing ZhangDeregulation of the electricity market and the continued attempts by the international community to reduce the effects of global climate change have resulted in a rapid increase in the usage of different renewable forms of energy such as the wind and solar energy. The availability of such renewables is highly sporadic in nature.
