Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractAnt Colony Based Node Disjoint Hybrid Multi-path Routing for Mobile Ad Hoc NetworkB. Kalaavathi, K. DuraiswamyMobile Ad hoc Networks are characterized by multi-hop wireless links, without any infrastructure and frequent node mobility. A class of ant colony based routing protocols has recently gained attention because of their adaptability to the network changes. AntHocNet is ant colony based hybrid algorithm, which combines reactive path setup with proactive path probing, maintenance and improvement. Multi-path routing represents a … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 4, Issue 2 · 28 Feb 2008 · 7,043 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractA Swarm-based Distance Vector Routing to Support Multiple Quality of Service (QoS) Metrics in Mobile Adhoc NetworksR. Asokan, A. M. Natarajan, A. NivethaQuality of Service support for Mobile Ad-hoc Networks is a challenging task due to dynamic topology and limited resource. The main purpose of QoS routing is to find a feasible path that has sufficient resources to satisfy the constraints. A fundamental problem in QoS routing is to find a path between a source and destination that satisfies two or more … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 3, Issue 9 · 30 Sep 2007 · 6,665 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessAll words, across the recordFault Tolerance Grid Scheduling with Checkpoint Based on Ant Colony SystemSaufi Bukhari, Ku Ruhana Ku-Mahamud, Hiroaki MorinoTask resubmission and checkpoint are among several popular techniques used in providing fault tolerance in grid computing. However, due to the lack of side-by-side comparison, it is not certain of the best technique that would not degrade the system performance in addition to providing fault tolerance capability. This study proposed Dynamic ACS-based Fault Tolerance in grid computing using resubmission to … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 13, Issue 8 · 1 Sep 2017 · 7,139 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessAll words, across the recordAN ALGORITHM FOR MINING USABLE RULES USING A HOLISTIC SWARM BASED APPROACHVeenu Mangat, Renu VigEvolutionary algorithms are capable of finding near optimal solutions to problems which are intractable to solve using conventional methods. One such problem is to accurately classify patients using rule mining methodology while controlling the size of output rules. A massive amount of data pertaining to medicine is generated and recorded daily. Uncovering useful knowledge and assisting decision makers in the … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 10, Issue 4 · 9 Dec 2013 · 6,667 accessesView PDF Cite
