Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleDDoS Attack Detection Using Enhanced Neural Network Algorithm in Software-Defined NetworksHema Surendrakumar Dhadhal, Paresh P KotakWith the uncommon advancement of technology and networking, the world today is totally relying on it. The most obvious drawback of this technical progress resulted in several possible dangers. A Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attack is one in which a large number of compromised systems work together to prevent service from being provided to the targeted system. Consequently, to … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 19, Issue 6 · 24 May 2023 · 5,721 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleA GPU-Based Genetic Algorithm for the Multiple Allocation P-Hub Median ProblemAchraf Berrajaa, Ayyoub El Outmani, Abdelhamid BenainiAs the sizes of realistic hub location problems increase as time goes on (reaching thousands of nodes currently) this makes such problems difficult to solve in a reasonable time using conventional computers. This study aims to show that such problems may be solved in a short computing time and with high-quality solutions using the computational power of the GPU (actually … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 19, Issue 5 · 28 Apr 2023 · 6,267 accessesView PDFCite
Review ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleA Proposed an Enhanced Authentication and Dual Encryption Algorithm: Secured Video Transmission in Surgical Tele-TrainingAnil Wagle, Abeer Alsadoon, P.W.C. Prasad et al.Implementation of tele-training for trainee surgeons has been slow to date as current standards of video transmission do not meet requirements for security, speed and clarity for such videos. The aim of this paper is to increase security by providing enhanced authentication as well as improving the overall throughput of the system. The proposed solution consists of a dual encryption … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 15, Issue 10 · 28 Dec 2018 · 7,772 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleApplication of Viral System Algorithm in Load Balancing of Cloud EnvironmentDamodar Tiwari, Shailendra Singh, Sanjeev SharmaAs the cloud computing technology is gaining popularity with time, more and more users and applications are shifting towards it. This is why clouds are experiencing high load, which demands for load balancing of user tasks submitted to cloud for execution. This makes load balancing of non-preemptive tasks a key issue in cloud computing. Superior task scheduling leads to balanced … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 14, Issue 7 · 14 Jul 2018 · 8,406 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleNovice Programmer = (Sourcecode) (Pseudocode) AlgorithmBudi Yulianto, Harjanto Prabowo, Raymond Kosala, Manik HapsaraDifficulties in learning programming often hinder new students as novice programmers. One of the difficulties is to transform algorithm in mind into syntactical solution (sourcecode). This study proposes an application to help students in transform their algorithm (logic) into sourcecode. The proposed application can be used to write down students’ algorithm (logic) as block of pseudocode and then transform it … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 14, Issue 4 · 10 Apr 2018 · 8,708 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleA Reformed K-Nearest Neighbors Algorithm for Big Data SetsVo Ngoc Phu, Vo Thi Ngoc TranA Data Mining Has Already Had Many Algorithms Which A K-Nearest Neighbors Algorithm, K-NN, Is A Famous Algorithm For Researchers. K-NN Is Very Effective On Small Data Sets, However It Takes A Lot Of Time To Run On Big Datasets. Today, Data Sets Often Have Millions Of Data Records, Hence, It Is Difficult To Implement K-NN On Big Data.
