Research ArticleOpen accessAll words, across the recordEVALUATION OF HIDDEN MARKOV MODEL BASED ADAPTIVE PROVISIONING OF OPTICAL BURST SWITCHING NETWORKS AMENABLE FOR UPGRADATION TO GREEN FLEXIGRID NETWORKSP. G.V. Ramesh, Prita NairCatering to the evolving bandwidth-on-demand applications requires flexible provisioning architectures that ensure fairness to both high end and low end users of internet. Dynamic classification of network paths into long and short, based on traffic dependent connection holding times and a wavelength allocation from different subsets for these categories is a necessity for implementing energy saving hybrid switching, loss recovery … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 10, Issue 5 · 16 Jan 2014 · 6,517 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessAll words, across the recordRange Detection Multicast Routing Protocol for Mobile Ad-Hoc NetworksR. Velumani, K. DuraiswamyProblem statement: Many efforts have been implemented towards the Group membership management on multicast routing in MANETs, but the difficulties associated with Group membership management are still existed. Approach: Maintaining endurance of Group Leader (GL) in multicasting routing has been a great challenge to all the protocol having been invented so far. Results: This study provides the RDMP algorithm for … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 8, Issue 4 · 10 Feb 2012 · 6,486 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessAll words, across the recordAd Hoc Mobile Wireless Networks Routing Protocols - A ReviewGeetha Jayakumar, G. GopinathMobile ad hoc networks(MANET) represent complex distributed systems that comprise wireless mobile nodes that can freely and dynamically self organize into arbitrary and temporary ad-hoc network topologies, allowing people and devices to seamlessly internet work in areas with no preexisting communication infrastructure e.g., disaster recovery environments. An ad-hoc network is not a new one, having been around in various forms … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 3, Issue 8 · 31 Aug 2007 · 115,241 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessAll words, across the recordDevelopment of Electronic Control Circuits for WSN: Towards a Livestock Tracking and Identification SystemObakeng Maphane, Oduetse Matsebe, Molaletsa NamosheBotswana’s beef sector contributes 0.3% of the total world beef exports, i.e. US$ 42.4 billion as of the year 2013 and her major market is the European Union (EU). Unfortunately, her failure to comply with the frequently changing European Commission (EC) export regulations on livestock tracking and identification means that beef export to this market is sometimes suspended. Research trends … …American Journal of Engineering and Applied Sciences, Vol. 10, Issue 4 · 4 Oct 2017 · 7,967 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessAll words, across the recordEnhanced Route Re-Construction Method for Associativity Based Routing Protocol for Mobile Ad hoc NETworks (MANET)Fawaz A.M. Masoud, Said A. Shaar, Ayman Murad, Ghassan KanaanA mobile Ad-hoc NETwork (MANET) is wireless network composed of mobile nodes that are dynamically and randomly located in such a manner that the interconnections between nodes are capable of changing on a continual basis. In order to facilitate communication within the network, a routing protocol is used to discover routes between nodes. The primary goal of such an ad-hoc … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 2, Issue 12 · 31 Dec 2006 · 6,542 accessesView PDF Cite
