Research ArticleOpen accessIn the keywordsComparative Performance Evaluation of Routing Algorithms in IEEE 802.15.4 and IEEE 802.11 with Different Ad Hoc Routing ProtocolP. Anitha, C. ChandrasekarProblem statement: Wireless ADHOC networks are self organized dynamic networks can share wireless channel without any established central control standard for IEEE 802.11. Approach: The most common protocols are AODV, DSDV, DSR in ADHOC used to ensure the data transmission among themselves. To meet the need of low power and low cost IEEE 802.15.4 standard was developed for sensor networks. … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 7, Issue 5 · 7 May 2011 · 7,415 accessesView PDFCite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the keywordsFPGA Implementation of Power Aware FIR Filter Using Reduced Transition Pipelined Variable Precision GatingA. Senthilkumar, A. M. NatarajanWith the emergence of portable computing and communication system, power awareness is one of the major objectives of VLSI Design. This is its ability to scale power consumption based on the time-varying nature of inputs. Even though the system is not designed for being power aware, systems display variations in power consumption as conditions change. This implies, by the definition … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 4, Issue 2 · 28 Feb 2008 · 7,317 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the keywordsPower Consumption and Performance’s Library on DSPs: Case Study MPEG2Jalel Ktari, Mohamed Abid, Nathalie Julien, Johann LaurentThe growing demand for portable electronic devices has led to an increased emphasis on power consumption within the semiconductor industry. As a result, designers are now encouraged to consider the impact of their decisions not only on speed and area, but also on power throughout the design space exploration. This article presents a high-level design space exploration methodology. It allows … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 3, Issue 3 · 31 Mar 2007 · 6,828 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractResource Pooling Coupled with Power Adaptation for the Management of Interferences between Cellular and D2D Communications in 5GDeussom Djomadji Eric Michel, Mengoumou Abessolo ArseneAs telecommunication networks are booming, we are witnessing an ever-increasing evolution of network generations. These evolutions are due both to the ever-higher demands of subscribers and services. Thus, the world we live in is moving towards a global interconnection of information systems and equipment, with an ever-increasing demand in terms of throughput, in terms of low latency, and reliability. This … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 22, Issue 1 · 5 Mar 2025 · 8,584 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractDesign and Construction of a Smart Meter with Embedded Web PortalDavid Mike-Ewewie, Ayodele Ifijeh, Victoria Oguntosin et al.The absence of the necessary infrastructure to make an accurate and precise collection of data when compared to the first-world countries in the power industry is great. Due to that, the need for the deployment of smart meters has increased in order to offer consumers and customers awareness of their electricity usage, helping them lower their total energy footprint. In … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 20, Issue 8 · 14 Jun 2024 · 5,279 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractAn Evolution Framework for Evaluating Intelligent Spectrum Sensing Mechanisms in Cognitive RadioArchana Krishnamuthy, Sudhindra Kumbhashi RajgopalCognitive radio technology has advanced to address the challenge of limited spectrum availability by employing spectrum sensing techniques. This process is framed as a detection problem involving two core hypotheses: Hypo-0 and Hypo-1. Hypo-0 represents the scenario where only noise is present, and its modeling depends on parameters such as the number of observed samples, the timing of signal acquisition, … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 21, Issue 8 · 4 Sep 2025 · 5,811 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractSMEs Strategies to Improve the Competitiveness of Dairy Products in West Sumatra Province, IndonesiaRahmi Wati, Firwan Tan, Donard Games, Endrizal RidwanConsidered a side business, most dairy farms in Indonesia are small-scale farms with low productivity. Farmers tend to sell the milk produced in the form of fresh milk rather than processed products. This condition causes low competitiveness of dairy products and the difficulty of dairy products penetrating the modern market. This study aims to identify factors that determine competitiveness and … …American Journal of Animal and Veterinary Sciences, Vol. 18, Issue 2 · 28 Jun 2023 · 5,986 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractOn the Design and Construction of a Dual Axis Solar Tracker Prototype for a Dish Concentrator using ATMega3298P MicrocontrollerAlbright Abu Edet, Samaila Umaru, Isah IbrahimThe desire for reliable power supply is the reason for further research into alternative sources of power. Although solar tracking is not a new technology, yet solar harvesters still suffer low efficiency due to the intermittence of solar insolation. Thus many smart systems have been designed to maximise solar harvesters. Among the systems is the dual axis solar tracking system. … …Journal of Mechatronics and Robotics, Vol. 5, Issue 1 · 21 Apr 2021 · 7,253 accessesView PDFCite
