Research ArticleOpen accessIn the keywordsEfficient Utilization of Mirroring Servers Using Artificial Neural NetworksRadwan Al-Shalalfa, Hazzaa Alshareef, Azzam Sleit et al.Due to the fact that an enormous amount of data is available to any user on the Internet, this leads to increased requests of Internet users to download or process their data among different servers. In fact, the need for increasing the reliability and performance of such servers has become an importance subject to tackle. Replicating servers is a way … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 18, Issue 1 · 2 Feb 2022 · 6,915 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the keywordsStatic Batch Mode Heuristic Algorithm for Mapping Independent Tasks in Computational GridR. Vijayalakshmi, V. VasudevanGrid computing plays an important role in solving large-scale computational problems in a high performance computing environment. Scheduling of tasks to efficient and best suitable resource is one of the most challenging phase in grid computing systems. Grid environment reveals several challenges in efficient scheduling of complex applications because of its heterogeneity, dynamic behavior and shared resources. Scheduling of independent … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 11, Issue 1 · 22 Sep 2014 · 7,429 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the keywordsDISTRIBUTION OF LOAD USING MOBILE AGENT IN DISTRIBUTED WEB SERVERSVijayakumar G. Dhas, V. Rhymend UthariarajThe continuing growth of the World-Wide Web is placing increasing demands on popular Web servers. Many of the sites are now using distributed Web servers (i.e., groups of machines) to service the increasing number of client requests, as a single server cannot handle the workload. Incoming client requests must be distributed in some fashion among the machines in the distributed … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 11, Issue 5 · 28 Feb 2014 · 6,590 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the keywordsMultipath Adaptive Packet Dispersion for Voice ApplicationsJ. Faritha Banu, V. RamachandranProblem statement: The quality of Voice over IP applications is decided by the main factors like network capacity and technologies such as codec type, Packet Loss Concealment (PLC) and Forward Error Correction (FEC). Approach: In MPLS networks multiple Label Switched Paths (LSP) are established between MPLS ingress and egress nodes to enhance the network performance and QoS for subscribers. To … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 8, Issue 4 · 27 Jan 2012 · 7,716 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractFL-CARE: Federated Learning-Based Contention-Aware and Energy-Balanced Routing for Dense FANETsHalimjon Khujamatov, Elyanora Jolimbetova et al.In dense multi-drone FANET environments, routing efficiency is often reduced due to constant competition for a wireless channel, frequent changes in network topology, and uneven energy consumption between UAV nodes. These factors lead to a decrease in the packet delivery ratio, an increase in delays on the busiest or most unstable routes, and a reduction in the total network lifespan. … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 22, Issue 8 · 13 Aug 2026 · 1,172 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractEnhanced Lifetime Maximization Using Metaheuristics-Based Unequal Clustering With Routing Protocol on Wireless Sensor NetworksN. E. Kanaghadhara, R. SubanThe Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) consists of spatially distributed autonomous sensors that monitor environmental or physical factors such as sound, pressure, or temperature, and pass the information directly through the network to a sink or central location. Clustering and routing are essential in WSNs to optimize their longevity, scalability, and efficiency. Clustering includes grouping Sensor Nodes (SN) into clusters, each … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 22, Issue 7 · 21 Jul 2026 · 682 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractMathematical Model of the Relationship between BGP Convergence Delay and Network TopologiesYahia Hasan JazyahBGP is a distant vector inters Autonomous System (AS) routing protocol that comes up after EGP to eliminate the inefficiency of EGP with respect to flexibility and scalability and to give support of an actual routing protocol. BGP handles the scalability problem using Classless Inter-Domain Routing (CIDR) and solves the inefficiency of EGP by accumulating all the possible route information … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 14, Issue 1 · 1 Jan 2018 · 9,248 accessesView PDFCite
Review ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractAnt Colony Optimization Approaches in Wireless Sensor Network: Performance EvaluationHusna Jamal Abdul Nasir, Ku Ruhana Ku-Mahamud, Eiji KamiokaWireless Sensor Network (WSN) has been widely implemented in large sectors such as military, habitat, business, industrial, health and environment. WSN is part of a distributed system where elements such as routing, load balancing, energy efficiency, node localization, time synchronization, data aggregation and security need to be addressed to improve its efficiency, robustness, extendibility, applicability and reliability. Despite multiple approaches … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 13, Issue 6 · 24 Jun 2017 · 8,533 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractSomething about the Balancing of Thermal MotorsRaffaella Aversa, Relly Victoria V. Petrescu, Bilal Akash et al.Internal combustion engines in line (regardless of whether the work in four-stroke engines and two-stroke engines Otto cycle engines, diesel and Lenoir) are, in general, the most used. Their problem of balancing is extremely important for their operation is correct. There are two possible types of balancing: Static and dynamic balance. The total static to make sure that the sum … …American Journal of Engineering and Applied Sciences, Vol. 10, Issue 1 · 15 Mar 2017 · 7,785 accessesView PDFCite
