VenkateshOwing to the security requirements of wireless sensor network, the background of Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) is to be analyzed with different threats and attack models. Physical compromising of sensor nodes by an adversary is an emerging problem in sensor network and accordingly, it is necessary to provide an environment with efficient key management techniques due to resource constraints on … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 9, Issue 5 · 17 May 2013 · 6,183 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the author namesGrid Voltage Stability Enhancement Using Photovoltaic Based Static Synchronous CompensatorSubhransu Sekhar Dash, Arun Bhaskar Mayilvaganan, Venkatesh VenkataramananToday, we are mostly dependent on non renewable energy that have been and will continue to be a major cause of pollution and other environmental degradation. Because of these problems and our dwindling supply of petroleum, finding sustainable alternatives is becoming increasingly urgent. Perhaps, the greatest challenge is in devising a sustainable future, which relies on integration and control of … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 9, Issue 3 · 17 Apr 2013 · 6,863 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the author namesImpulse Radio Ultra Wide Band Based Mobile Adhoc Network Routing Performance AnalysisM. Sreedhar, C. VenkateshThis study presents with the routing overhead analysis of impulse radio - Ultra Wide Band based wireless networks which Employs Dynamic Nature Routing (EDNR) method for determining and selecting the stable route in Mobile Adhoc Network (MANET). This method requires only two sample packets and uses piggyback information on Route-Request (RREQ) and Route-Reply (RREP) packets during a route-discovery procedure. Conventional … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 10, Issue 4 · 15 Apr 2013 · 5,891 accessesView PDFCite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the author namesSecured Disclosure of Sensitive Data in Data Mining TechniquesKirubhakar Gurusamy, Venkatesh ChakrapaniRecent advances in data collection, data dissemination and related technologies have inaugurated a new era of research where existing data mining algorithms should be reconsidered from the point of view of securing sensitive data. People have become increasingly unwilling to share their data. This frequently results in individuals either refusing to share their data or providing incorrect data. In turn, … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 8, Issue 12 · 18 Dec 2012 · 6,484 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the author namesFacial Expressions Recognition Using EigenspacesSenthil Ragavan Valayapalayam Kittusamy, Venkatesh ChakrapaniA challenging research topic is to make the Computer Systems to recognize facial expressions from the face image. A method of facial expression recognition, based on Eigenspaces is presented in this study. Here, the authors recognize the user’s facial expressions from the input images, using a method that was customized from eigenface recognition. Evaluation was done for this method in … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 8, Issue 10 · 27 Aug 2012 · 6,787 accessesView PDFCite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the author namesEnhanced Variable Splitting Ratio Algorithm for Effective Load Balancing in MPLS NetworksG. Murugesan, A. M. Natarajan, C. VenkateshFast load balancing is of the highest importance to utilize the resources effectively and improve the performance of the Multi Protocol Label Switching (MPLS) enabled Internet Protocol (IP) networks. Load balancing splits a part of traffic called splitting ratio from the maximum loaded path in to minimum loaded path. One very strong constrain in balancing the load is the tradeoff … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 4, Issue 3 · 31 Mar 2008 · 7,345 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the author namesSimulation of Voltage Stability and Alleviation Through Knowledge Based SystemA. Arunagiri, B. VenkateshModern power systems are large sized and rapidly growing. They require constant attention to monitor their performance. Attention is also required to ensure that the voltage stability margin of the power system is above a desired level. In order to achieve the objective, this study proposes a knowledge-based system. It computes using simple Fast De-Coupled Load Flow (FDLF), the state … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 1, Issue 4 · 31 Dec 2004 · 6,820 accessesView PDFCite
