Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractA Novel Approach to Head positioning using Fixed Center Interpolation Net with Weight Elimination AlgorithmMahmoud Zaki IskandaraniA reliable algorithm for head movements inside a vehicle is designed. The proposed algorithm allowed the adjustment of basic functions such as indicators, mirrors and reverse lights based on the driver final head position. The algorithm system mapped a predefined coordinates for driver’s head that resulted in a computable geometry via a sensory system which is fed to the vehicle … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 7, Issue 2 · 25 Feb 2011 · 7,305 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractSkin Color Detection Model Using Neural Networks and its Performance EvaluationK. K. Bhoyar, O. G. KakdeProblem statement: Skin color detection is used as a preliminary step in numerous computer vision applications like face detection, nudity recognition, hand gesture detection and person identification. In this study we present a pixel based skin color classification approach, for detecting skin pixels and non skin pixels in color images, using a novel neural network symmetric classifier. The neural classifiers … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 6, Issue 9 · 30 Sep 2010 · 8,058 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessAll words, across the recordDESIGN AND IMPLEMENTATION OF THE TPM USER AUTHENTICATION MODELMarwan Ibrahim Alshar’e, Rossilawati Sulaiman, Mohd Rosmadi Mokhtar, Abdullah MohdZinThe Trusted Computing Group (TCG) has introduced the Trusted Platform Module (TPM) as a solution to assure end users of their privacy and confidentiality. Although the TPM is designed to prevent software attacks, the TPM itself is vulnerable to physical attacks that could enable intruders to gain access to confidential data. In general, the TPM provides an ID and implements … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 10, Issue 11 · 20 Dec 2014 · 8,615 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessAll words, across the recordHuman Face Detection and Recognition using Web-CamPetcharat Pattanasethanon, Charuay SavithiProblem statement: The illuminance insensitivity that reflects the angle of human facial aspects occurs once the distance between the object and the camera is too different such as animated images. This has been a problem for facial recognition system for decades. Approach: For this reason, our study represents a novel technique for facial recognition through the implementation of Successes Mean … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 8, Issue 9 · 17 Aug 2012 · 8,271 accessesView PDF Cite
