Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractMETADATA DRIVEN EFFICIENT KEY GENERATION AND DISTRIBUTION IN CLOUD SECURITYR. Anitha, Saswati MukherjeeWith rapid development of cloud computing to a greater extent IT industries outsource their sensitive data at cloud data storage location. To keep the stored data confidential against untrusted cloud service providers, a natural way is to store only encrypted data in the cloud severs and providing an efficient access control mechanism using a competent cipher key-Cmxn, which is becoming … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 10, Issue 10 · 12 May 2014 · 6,622 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractPyritization of the Coastal Sediments in the Kelantan Plains in the Malay Peninsula during the HoloceneM.S.K. Enio, J. Shamshuddin, C.I. Fauziah, M.H.A. HusniProblem statement: For a number of geological reasons a proportion of the present coastal plains in the Malay Peninsula were inundated by seawater in the past when pyrite in some of the soils is believed to have been mineralized. Random survey of these sites showed a unique distribution and depth of pyritic layer in the soils along the coastal plains. … …American Journal of Agricultural and Biological Sciences, Vol. 6, Issue 3 · 16 Aug 2011 · 8,740 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractMobile Node Speed Detection Mechanism in Hierarchical Mobile Internet Protocol (IPv6)Zulkeflee Kusin, Mohamad Shanudin ZakariaProblem statement: IETF has introduced Hierarchical Mobile IPv6 (HMIPv6) to support mobility problem in the next generation Internet Protocol (IPv6). The key concept behind this protocol is the usage of Mobility Anchor Point (MAP) located at any level router of network to support hierarchical mobility management and seamless handover. The distance MAP selection in HMIPv6 causes MAP overloaded as the … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 7, Issue 9 · 27 Jul 2011 · 6,614 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractAn Efficient Certificate-Free Key Distribution Protocol for Secure Group Communication in Grid EnvironmentMandadi Venkatesulu, Kamatchi KartheebanProblem statement: In grid environment, group communication is an important mechanism to realize large-scale information resource sharing. However providing security for group communication in grid environment is very difficult because the group is dynamic in nature. Scalable group re-keying is one of the important issues in secure group communication. These group keys should be updated whenever a member joins/leaves the … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 7, Issue 6 · 14 Jun 2011 · 7,125 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractMechanism of Microencapsulation with Urea-Formaldehyde PolymerRochmadi, Agus Prasetya, Wahyu HasokowatiProblem statement: Microcapsule is one of important fine chemical products in the current chemical industries. Better understanding of microencapsulation process is useful to properly design of microcapsule with specific characteristics. The aim of this research is to study the mechanism of Urea-Formaldehyde (UF) microcapsules formation. Approach: Microcapsule was prepared in two steps. The first step was the preparation of oil … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 7, Issue 6 · 30 Jun 2010 · 8,715 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractSecurity Challenges in Multicast Communication for Mobile Ad Hoc NetworkS. Gunasekaran, K. DuraiswamyProblem statement: Multicasting communication network accepted a single message from an application and delivered copies of the message to multiple recipients at different locations. Recently, there has been an explosion of research literature on multicast communication environment. The objective of this study were to contribute the complexity of supporting current multicast applications, (i) the lack of reliable multicast transport mechanisms … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 6, Issue 5 · 31 May 2010 · 6,125 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractGamma Irradiation Synthesis and Influence the Optical and Thermal Properties of Cadmium Sulfide (CdS)/Poly (Vinyl Pyrolidone) NanocompositesShawkat Salameh Gasaymeh, Shahidan Radiman, Lee Yook Heng, Elias SaionProblem statement: Gamma irradiation has been successfully used to prepare a spherical cadmium sulfide CdS/Poly Vinylpyrolidone (PVP) quantum dots nanoparticles with enhancement of their optical band gap energy and thermal properties at room temperature and under ambient pressure. Sodium thiosulfate was used as a sulfur source in an aqueous solution. The formation of lower band gap energy of CdS/PVP nanoparticles … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 7, Issue 4 · 30 Apr 2010 · 8,459 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractA Policy-Based Admission Control Scheme for Voice over IP NetworksSami Alwakeel, Agung PrasetijoProblem statement: In Voice Over IP (VOIP) network, when more calls are admitted to the network, more voice packet traffic is created. Since bandwidth is always limited, this may result network congestion and/or may affect voice quality. Thus, we needed a mechanism for improving the Quality of Service (QoS) by controlling VOIP calls admission. Approach: Given a specified bandwidth and … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 5, Issue 11 · 30 Nov 2009 · 6,609 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractDynamic Head Cluster Election Algorithm for Clustered Ad-Hoc NetworksArwa Zabian, Ahmed Ibrahim, Fadi Al-KalaniIn distributed system, the concept of clustering consists on dividing the geographical area covered by a set of nodes into small zones. In mobile network, the clustering mechanism varied due to the mobility of the nodes any time in any direction. That causes the partitioning of the network or the joining of nodes. Several existing centralized or globalized algorithm have … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 4, Issue 1 · 31 Jan 2008 · 7,430 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractGeographic Distribution and Genetic Analysis of Physiological Racesof Setosphaeria turcica in Northern ChinaJingao Dong, Yongshan Fan, Xiumei Gui et al.Five hundreds and forty-six isolates of Setosphaeria turcica, the causal agent of Northern Corn Leaf Blight, were collected in 61 corn-growing locations throughout six provinces of Northern China during 2000-2002, to determine their pathogenicity on two sets of host differentials: OH43/Huangzao4, OH43Ht1Huangzao4Ht1, OH43Ht2/Huangzao4Ht2, OH43Ht3/Huangzao4Ht3 and OH43HtN/Huangzao4HtN. The isolates were grouped into 13 different physiological races (0, 1, 12, 3, 13, … …American Journal of Agricultural and Biological Sciences, Vol. 3, Issue 1 · 31 Mar 2008 · 8,806 accessesView PDFCite
