Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleA Study of the Contracting and Procurement Process for Cots Software ProjectsMansoor A.A. A’ali, Seema A. Al Mahmood, Ala Al-ZobaidieThe subject of contracting and procurement in relation to COTS software projects has not been well studied. This study discusses issues related to contracting and procurement process in COTS (Commercial Of The Shelf) software acquisition projects. The research is based on the analysis of three case studies of major COTS projects in Bahrain. Based on the case studies analysis and … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 3, Issue 3 · 31 Mar 2007 · 6,617 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleApproximation Methods for Fixed Points of Quasi-contractive Mappings in Arbitrary Real Banach SpacesOlusegun O. OwojoriOwojori and Imoru [1] introduced some iteration methods and investigated its convergence for pseudocontractive and accretive operators in arbitrary Banach spaces. In this work, strong convergence results are established for fixed points of a general type of quasicontractive mappings in arbitrary real Banach spaces. Our results here represent some improvements on the earlier results of Owojori and Imoru [1], Naimpally … …Journal of Mathematics and Statistics, Vol. 1, Issue 2 · 30 Jun 2005 · 6,155 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the keywordsDesign and Evaluation of a Blockchain-Integrated Secure Cloud Storage SystemWalde Rajesh Baliram, Bashir Alam, M. N. DojaCloud storage is a critical part of modern computer systems that has a centralized structure, which opens sensitive data to security risks, including unauthorized access, insider threats, and data tampering. In order to mitigate these issues, this paper proposed a novel cloud storage system with built-in blockchain, AES-256 encryption, access control using smart contracts, and a dual-hash integrity check system. … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 22, Issue 7 · 22 Jul 2026 · 911 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the keywordsA Novel Blockchain-Based System for Developing a Virtual JudgeHayder Abdulsattar Nahi, Noor Hasssan Fadhil, Moatasem Mohammed Saeed, Rusul Abdulkarrem SalmanThe designed judicial system is frequently unavailable to people, it is needed in a long time to process and is expensive. Blockchain technology proposes a potential explanation for these cases by facilitating the construction of a virtual judge that can automate considerable dispute resolution processes. This study suggests utilizing blockchain technology with Network Function Virtualization (NFV) to create a virtual … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 21, Issue 2 · 18 Jan 2025 · 5,874 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the keywordsPrimary Color Based Numerous Image Creation in Visual Cryptography with the Help of Grasshopper Algorithm, Artificial Neural Network and Elliptic Curve CryptographySurajit Goon, Debdutta Pal, Souvik DihidarThe two primary restrictions of visual cryptography methods, contract, and security are well-known. Visual cryptography is considered secure if no share reveals information about the secure picture and this image is unreachable when shares are combined. Recursion can be used in a visual cryptography method to ensure the integrity of both arguments. Sometimes, the many shares are generated illogically in … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 18, Issue 5 · 19 May 2022 · 6,279 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the keywordsA Secured Blockchain-based Information-Centric NetworkAbdelrahman Sheham Abdellah, Sherif Saif, Hesham E. ElDeeb et al.In this study, we propose an Information-Centric Network (ICN) approach for the Internet as an alternative to the present host-centric architecture. The proposed approach solves present Internet challenges, where most Internet users nowadays are involved in seeking knowledge by searching through large amounts of data, independent of the data's physical locations and these users usually have requests that need prompt … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 18, Issue 4 · 17 Apr 2022 · 6,239 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the keywordsA Blockchain-based Renewable Energy Investment Management Platform: Decentralized Sustainable Development (DeSDev)Warodom Werapun, Tanwa Arpornthip, Esther Sangiamkul et al.In this study, a novel blockchain-based platform for renewable energy investment is proposed. The blockchain technology has been shown to be a reliable way to send financial transactions across the world in a decentralized manner, at a fraction of the cost and with a faster transaction time. The proposed platform is capable of handling an equity-sharing investment program for solar … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 16, Issue 11 · 28 Nov 2020 · 7,838 accessesView PDFCite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the keywordsBlockchain Based Solution for Secure and Efficient Agricultural Supply Chain SystemsYassir Farooqui, Syed Ibad Ali, Kush Bhushanwar et al.The agricultural supply chain forms the backbone for feeding the world and supporting economies, but there is always a challenge to it such as traceability, inefficiencies, fraud risk, and poor transparency. Trust is hampered as many traditional systems still depend on manual procedures and distributed data records. So as to overcome the issues and improve the security, overall effectiveness, and … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 22, Issue 10 · 28 Sep 2026 · 613 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the keywordsOn Fixed Point Theorem of C Class Functions - B Weak Cyclic MappingsSahar Mohamed Ali Abou Bakr, Arslan Hojat AnsariNew B-𝔘-cyclic weak contraction C-class function concept has been introduced, B-𝔘-cyclic weak F-φ-Φ-contraction types of mapping are defined and the existence of fixed point for such types has been proved.
