Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractProviding Reliability in Replicated Middleware ApplicationsR. Saravanan, N. RamarajProblem statement: Data inconsistency is raised in actively replicated environment due to non-determinism in the applications that defeats the purpose of replication as a fault-tolerance strategy. Approach: We proposed an efficient framework RTC which ensured determinism among the replicas in fault tolerance middleware applications. This method exploits the technique of statically analyzing the application source code of client and identifies … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 5, Issue 1 · 31 Jan 2009 · 8,696 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractCluster Computing: A Mobile Code ApproachR. B. Patel, Manpreet SinghCluster computing harnesses the combined computing power of multiple processors in a parallel configuration. Cluster Computing environments built from commodity hardware have provided a cost-effective solution for many scientific and high-performance applications. In this paper we have presented design and implementation of a cluster based framework using mobile code. The cluster implementation involves the designing of a server named MCLUSTER … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 2, Issue 10 · 31 Oct 2006 · 6,714 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractAn Effective Transmission and Browsing Methodology for Streaming VideoK. K. Thyagharajan, V. RamachandranBrowsing streaming video quickly through Internet with in the available bandwidth is a challenging one and it is also time consuming. The user has to browse, view and listen to the complete video to identify relevant contents. Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractRetrieving Information from the Invisible Web Using Mobile AgentsFabien-Kenzo Sato, Samuel Pierre, Roch H. GlithoThis study proposes a model of information retrieval on the invisible Web by using the mobile agent paradigm. The developed architecture uses the power of a search engine to provide a list of sites of the invisible Web which are likely to be relevant and launches a dynamic search on these sites, thanks to mobile agents. To compare and experiment … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 1, Issue 2 · 30 Jun 2005 · 6,839 accessesView PDFCite
