Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractExploring Spatial ARM (Spatial Association Rule Mining) for Geo-Decision Support SystemRanjana Vyas, Lokesh Kumar Sharma, U. S. TiwaryGeographical Decision Support System (Geo-DSS) is a demanding field, since enormous amount of spatial data have been collected in various applications, ranging form Remote Sensing to GIS, Computer Cartography, Environmental Assessment and Planning. Although some efforts were made to combine spatial mining with Spatial Decision Support System but mostly researchers for spatial database are using a popular data mining approach-Apriori … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 3, Issue 11 · 30 Nov 2007 · 6,956 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractSoftware Process Modeling Using Role and CoordinationAtil Fadila, Ghoul Said, Bounour NoraThe term software process joins all activities that have to be achieved in order to develop software. It has been shown that modeling such processes is difficult and expensive task. It's confirmed by diversity of software processes modeling approaches which are however, not satisfactory. This study deals with an area of growing importance and presents a role- and coordination- based … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 2, Issue 4 · 30 Apr 2006 · 6,567 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessAll words, across the recordPARTIAL RULE MATCH FOR FILTERING RULES IN ASSOCIATIVE CLASSIFICATIONYuhanis Yusof, Mohamed Hayel RefaiIn this study, we propose a new method to enhance the accuracy of Modified Multi-class Classification based on Association Rule (MMCAR) classifier. We introduce a Partial Rule Match Filtering (PRMF) method that allows a minimal match of the items in the rule’s body in order for the rule to be added into a classifier. Experiments on Reuters-21578 data sets are … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 10, Issue 4 · 9 Dec 2013 · 7,741 accessesView PDF Cite
