Research ArticleOpen accessAll words, across the recordAn Effective Contention Aware Stable Path Finding Approach to Provide Quality of Service in Mobile Ad hoc NetworksD. S. Thenmozhi, M. RajaramProblem statement: The application of Mobile Ad hoc NETworks (MANETs) has been increasing every day. Most applications that attract interest for use in current wired networks (e.g. video conferencing, on line movies and camera enabled instant messenger) would attract interest for MANETs also. Many applications that use MANETs include multimedia data that require Quality of Service (QoS) support for effective … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 7, Issue 3 · 7 Mar 2011 · 6,740 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessAll words, across the recordFuzzy Swarm Based Text SummarizationMohammed Salem Binwahlan, Naomie Salim, Ladda SuanmaliProblem statement: The aim of automatic text summarization systems is to select the most relevant information from an abundance of text sources. A daily rapid growth of data on the internet makes the achieve events of such aim a big challenge. Approach: In this study, we incorporated fuzzy logic with swarm intelligence; so that risks, uncertainty, ambiguity and imprecise values … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 5, Issue 5 · 30 May 2009 · 7,412 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessAll words, across the recordExistence and Uniqueness Conditions for the Maximum Likelihood Solution In Regression Models For Correlated Bernoulli Random VariablesDavid Todem, KyungMann KimWe give sufficient and necessary conditions for the existence of the maximum likelihood estimate in a class of multivariate regression models for correlated Bernoulli random variables. The models use the concept of threshold crossing technique of an underlying multivariate latent variable with univariate components formulated as a linear regression model. However, in place of their Gaussian assumptions, any specified distribution … …Journal of Mathematics and Statistics, Vol. 3, Issue 3 · 30 Sep 2007 · 6,838 accessesView PDFCite
