Research ArticleOpen accessAll words, across the recordComparative Study of Packet Scheduling Algorithm in LTE NetworkAlaa Omer Najim, Nor Asilah Wati Abdul Hamid, Zurina Mohd Hanapi, Idawaty AhmadAt present, Long-Term Evolution (LTE) is the most popular Internet access technology because of its robust wireless connectivity that can support data, voice, video and messaging traffic. This advantage has significantly increased the number of users availing themselves of these services through various devices. Such an increase in the number of users has also increased network traffic. Thus, scheduling algorithms … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 13, Issue 12 · 20 Dec 2017 · 7,822 accessesView PDF Cite

Ahmad et al.Wireless multi-hop relay networks have become very significant technologies in mobile communications. These networks ensure data rate transfer and coverage extension with a low cost. In this study two types of relay are studied; Fixed Relay Node (FRN) and Moving Relay Node (MRN). Where system analyses for uplink and downlink transmission are derived in this study. Moreover the optimal relay … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 10, Issue 6 · 3 Feb 2014 · 6,737 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessAll words, across the recordDistributed Real Time Architecture for Data Placement in Wireless Sensor NetworksSanjeev Gupta, Mayank DaveProblem statement: Application scenarios of Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN) create interesting design challenges since the sensor nodes used to collect and communicate data may fail suddenly and unpredictably. The issue of real-time and reliable data delivery is extremely important for taking effective decisions in WSN. Approach: In this study we proposed architecture for reliable and real-time approach for data placement … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 5, Issue 12 · 31 Dec 2009 · 6,633 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessAll words, across the recordBluetooth Wireless Network Authentication Using Radio Frequency Communication ProtocolGhossoon M. Waleed, M. Faizal, R. B. Ahmad et al.Problem statement: Bluetooth has emerged as very popular ad hoc network standard today. Bluetooth network applications include wireless synchronization, e-mail/internet/intranet access using local personal computer connections, hidden computing through automated applications and networking. Due to this ability, it is not impossible for the network to receive any attack. Approach: In this study, we developed an algorithm to build new software … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 5, Issue 9 · 30 Sep 2009 · 7,819 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessAll words, across the recordPerformance Evaluation of Implementing Calls Prioritization with Different Queuing Disciplines in Mobile Wireless NetworksSalman A. AlQahtani, Nasser-Eddine RikliIt is known that efficient call handling mechanisms can greatly improve cellular network performance. One way to improve system performance of cellular network is to use efficient handover schemes when users changes between cells. This paper focuses on the performance evaluation of originating and handover calls prioritization using different queue size and discipline. Both calls will be queued until they … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 2, Issue 5 · 31 May 2006 · 6,470 accessesView PDF Cite
