Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractCredence Aware Data Aggregation for Wireless Sensor NetworksSwathi S, Yogish H K, Deepa Yogish, Asha NTo ensure data's reliability and credibility in Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs), we provide an effective Credence-aware in-network aggregation design in persistent wireless sensor networks. This approach was motivated by a well-studied reputation and Credence relationships within social sciences. The proposed method uses an efficient CSDA algorithm to get more accurate results in terms of response time, penalty weights, the number … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 18, Issue 4 · 27 Apr 2022 · 6,393 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractStock Closing Price Forecasting Using LSTM, Sentiment Analysis, Kalman FilterAssel Abdildayeva, Galymzhan Nurtugan, Guldana Taganova, Ardak AkhmetovaThe article explores the problem of predicting the closing prices of stocks using an innovative approach that combines methods of machine learning, sentiment analysis and noise filtering. The focus is on the development and testing of a comprehensive model that integrates recurrent neural networks (LSTM) for time series analysis, the GPT-3 language model for processing and analyzing textual data from … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 20, Issue 11 · 4 Sep 2024 · 6,266 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractSocial Media Sentiment Analysis: The Hajj Tweets Case StudyMohammad Ashraf Ottom, Khalid M.O. NaharAbout forty five percent of the world's population use social networks, thinking of using these platforms seemed to find people's opinions and feelings on various topics. Companies that offer their services and products to customers focus on the subject for future improvement. Thus, serious thinking began to analyze the views of people across different social platforms and also to develop … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 17, Issue 3 · 20 Mar 2021 · 7,764 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractThe Impact of Emerging Technologies on Workplace Privacy Case Study-Electronic MonitoringArwa Zabian, Sami QawasmehDue to the COVID-19 epidemic pandemic, the Internet invades our life aspects and activities, the way we work or shop has changed, the educational system has changed, and the social structure and many other things in our lives have changed. In this research work, we analyze three hypotheses regarding electronic monitoring during the COVID-19 pandemic. Review ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractDeepfake Technology: A Comprehensive Review of Trends, Applications, Ethical Concerns, and ChallengesBattula Thirumaleshwari Devi, Rajkumar RajasekaranThe digital age has fundamentally transformed how information is created and disseminated, raising critical concerns about the authenticity and trustworthiness of online content. Recent advances in Artificial Intelligence (AI), particularly deep learning, have given rise to deepfakes: highly realistic synthetic media generated by manipulating or replacing faces, voices, and actions in videos. While deepfake technology offers innovative applications across various … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 22, Issue 1 · 17 Feb 2026 · 4,880 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractExtended Trigger Terms for Extracting Adverse Drug Reactions in Social Media TextsRami Naim Mohammad Yousef, Sabrina Tiun, Nazlia OmarAdverse Drug Reaction (ADR) is a disorder caused by taking medications. Studies have addressed extracting ADRs from social networks where users express their opinion regarding a specific medication. Extracting entities mainly depends on specific terms called trigger terms that may occur before or after ADRs. However, these terms should be extended, especially when examining multiple representation of N-gram. This study … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 15, Issue 6 · 29 Jun 2019 · 8,058 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractA Model of Cyber Extremists' Rhetorical Structure Towards Protecting Critical InfrastructureOsman Khairunnisa, Jano Zanariah, Ahmad RabiahMuch research at present focuses on the ways in which organizations secure their networks and information in the supply chain, ignoring the ways in which organizations construct and understand the core of the cybersecurity risks. Cybersecurity focuses more on defense mechanisms such as anti-virus software, malware protection, firewall and more on securing network and application. More research to understand extremist … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 20, Issue 6 · 14 Mar 2024 · 5,192 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractComputational Analysis of Network ODE Systems in Metric Spaces: An ApproachSusmit BagchiTraditionally, the concepts of graph theory are applied to design stationary computer networks and, to analyze dynamics of social networks. However, the majority of non-stationary network models are formulated by using Ordinary Differential Equations (ODE) with varying orders having homogeneous or non-homogeneous forms. However, the analysis of continuous solution spaces of ODE and understanding of the interplay of spaces in … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 13, Issue 1 · 1 Mar 2017 · 7,895 accessesView PDFCite
