Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titlePRESERVATION OF THE PRIVACY FOR MULTIPLE CUSTODIAN SYSTEMS WITH RULE SHARINGB. Murugeshwari, C. Jaya Kumar, K. SarukesiThe aim of the research work is to mine the data set available with each custodian in a semi honest model, securely without disclosure of any data amongst various custodians involved. No custodian discloses any information. In the proposed scheme in order to reduce the computational complexity, the data partitioning has been done in the horizontal way. The proposed research … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 9, Issue 9 · 6 Aug 2013 · 6,314 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the keywordsA Novel Time-Based Switch Migration Method (TSSM) for Load Balancing in Distributed Software-Defined NetworkingThangaraj E, Dinesh K, Prabhakaran Paulraj et al.Switch migration is predominantly used for workload balancing in distributed Software Defined Network (SDN) controllers. The Time-Sharing Switch Migration (TSSM) technique allowed the switch's responsibility to be divided based on the time duration condition of overload, which resulted in fewer overload events, fewer ping-pong controller issues, and more efficient controllers. However, it has higher controller resource utilization during TSSM working … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 22, Issue 3 · 6 Mar 2026 · 1,591 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the keywordsAnonymous and Distributed Authentication for Peer-to-Peer NetworksPasan Tennakoon, Supipi Karunathilaka, Rishikeshan Lavakumar et al.Well-known authentication mechanisms such as Public-key Infrastructure (PKI) and Identity-based Public-key Certificates (ID-PKC) are not suitable for integration in a Peer-to-Peer (P2P) network environment, the reason being either the lack of or the difficulty in maintaining a centralized authority to manage the certificates. Authentication becomes even harder in anonymous environments. In this study, we present three authentication protocols such that … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 19, Issue 1 · 3 Jan 2023 · 6,544 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the keywordsA Blockchain-based Renewable Energy Investment Management Platform: Decentralized Sustainable Development (DeSDev)Warodom Werapun, Tanwa Arpornthip, Esther Sangiamkul et al.In this study, a novel blockchain-based platform for renewable energy investment is proposed. The blockchain technology has been shown to be a reliable way to send financial transactions across the world in a decentralized manner, at a fraction of the cost and with a faster transaction time. The proposed platform is capable of handling an equity-sharing investment program for solar … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 16, Issue 11 · 28 Nov 2020 · 7,846 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the keywordsADAPTIVE RESOURCE CONTROL MECHANISM THROUGH REPUTATION-BASED SCHEDULING IN HETEROGENEOUS DISTRIBUTED SYSTEMSMasnida Hussin, Rohaya LatipThe service-oriented distributed systems such as Grids and Clouds are unified computing platform that connect and share heterogeneous resources including computation resource, storage resource, information resource and knowledge resource. While these systems provide a vast amount of computing power their reliability are often hard to be guaranteed. It is due to the increased complexity of processing (e.g., overhead, latency) that … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 9, Issue 12 · 25 Nov 2013 · 7,053 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the keywordsA Novel Architecture of Maximum Power Point Tracking for Ultra-Low-Power Based Hybrid Energy Harvester in Ubiquitous Devices: A ReviewMichelle Lim Sern Mi, Sawal Hamid Muhammad Ali, Md Shabiul IslamThis research work presents a novel architecture of an Ultra-Low-Power (ULP) based Hybrid Energy Harvester (HEH) consisting of multiple input sources such as kinetic, thermal and solar energy, harvested from passive human power. Having multiple ambient sources mitigates limitations caused by single sources especially for bodily-worn applications; however, this results in impedance mismatch among the different integrated sources. To overcome … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 10, Issue 10 · 6 Sep 2013 · 7,161 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the keywordsA Study of Knowledge Management Process Practices in Very Small Software CompaniesShuib Basri, Rory V. O’ConnorProblem statement: Software development is distinct from other types of engineering because the product is intangible, progress is not explicit and team members rely on the documentation of others to review progress. In addition, there are no standard processes, which make it difficult to predict which process will cause development problems. The discourse of knowledge management is becoming more evident … …American Journal of Economics and Business Administration, Vol. 3, Issue 4 · 6 Mar 2012 · 8,199 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the keywordsOn Studying Spatial Patterns and Association Between these Patterns of Mortality and Prosperity in MalaysiaFaisal G. Khamis, Abdul Aziz Jemain, Kamarulzaman IbrahimIn this study, we examined the geographical distribution (the spatial structure) of mortality and prosperity in Malaysia. In addition we proposed an approach to investigate the association between clustering patterns of mortality and prosperity across different areas of the country. To characterize the geographic pattern of mortality and prosperity, three indicators (infant, neonatal, and stillbirth) were proposed for mortality and … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 5, Issue 7 · 31 Jul 2008 · 6,936 accessesView PDFCite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the keywordsSocialMANET: A Publish/Subscribe Events Dissemination Protocol for Mobile Ad-Hoc NetworksMaurice Tchoupé Tchendji, Martin Xavier Tchembé, Innocent Tialo NecheuThe popularization of mobile equipment capable of communicating autonomously nowadays offers the possibility of thinking more seriously about a mode of communication in which stakeholders communicate in an ad-hoc manner and use mobility to convey information. However, due to their mobile nature, such equipments are limited by their low energy and storage capacity. Algorithms designed for them must therefore be … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 15, Issue 9 · 3 Sep 2019 · 7,685 accessesView PDFCite
