Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractA Novel Intrusion Detection System for Wireless Body Area Network in Health Care MonitoringT. V.P. Sundararajan, A. ShanmugamProblem statement: Health monitoring, telemedicine, military, interactive entertainment and portable audio/video systems were most promising applications where WBANs can be used. However, designers of such systems face a number of challenging tasks, as they need to address often quite conflicting requirements for size, operating time, precision and reliability. Network security is very important in Wireless Body Area Network (WBAN) since … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 6, Issue 11 · 26 Oct 2010 · 6,707 accessesView PDFCite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractDistributed Real Time Architecture for Data Placement in Wireless Sensor NetworksSanjeev Gupta, Mayank DaveProblem statement: Application scenarios of Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN) create interesting design challenges since the sensor nodes used to collect and communicate data may fail suddenly and unpredictably. The issue of real-time and reliable data delivery is extremely important for taking effective decisions in WSN. Approach: In this study we proposed architecture for reliable and real-time approach for data placement … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 5, Issue 12 · 31 Dec 2009 · 6,633 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractThe Social Adjustment of the Kuy People to a Multicultural Context in Southern Isan, ThailandWilart Pothisan, Art Nantajak, Prasopsuk Rittidet, Budsakorn SaenyabudThe state had paid much attention on economy by building a network of roads between the province, the district and the village for the Kuy people in Ban Treum. The state established a health center to provide for the people with modern medical care and malaria prevention. And the external streams had more effects on their communities. Therefore, Kuy had … …Journal of Social Sciences, Vol. 4, Issue 4 · 31 Dec 2008 · 8,545 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractTopology Discovering and Power saving Mechanism for Routing in a Tree of Ad-hoc Wireless NetworksArwa ZabianPower management in mobile network is an open challenges where the power level in the network influences the network life time. However, there are a trade off between the power consumption and the connectivity in mobile networks. We present a topology control mechanism and a routing protocol for Ad-Hoc wireless networks that chooses the shortest path given the lower power … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 3, Issue 8 · 31 Aug 2007 · 6,550 accessesView PDFCite
EditorialOpen accessIn the abstractRECENT TRENDS AND CHALLENGES OF ENERGY EFFICIENT AND SUSTAINABLE BUILDINGSChiara BedonAccording to several studies (e.g., the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC, 2014), the US Energy Information Administration (US EIA, 2014), warming of the climate system is unequivocal and mainly derives from greenhouse gas emissions due to human activities. Global Carbon Dioxide (CO2) emissions from fossil fuels, for example, are estimated to be 29% higher in 2035 than they were … …American Journal of Engineering and Applied Sciences, Vol. 7, Issue 3 · 11 Sep 2014 · 8,497 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractCache Management for Concurrent Transaction Execution in Mobile Wireless EnvironmentJ.C. Miraclin Joyce Pamila, K. ThanushkodiProblem statement: Improvement in mobile communication technology and increased capability of mobile devices has made transaction processing possible with mobile devices. Transactions access services provided by the data server connected to the packet data network. Direct data access may overload the network and server. Data items are cached to improve data availability. The cache should be managed and maintained effectively … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 7, Issue 3 · 7 Mar 2011 · 6,809 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractPresent a Mechatronic System Having Able to Determine the Concentration of CarotenoidsRaffaella Aversa, Eleni Buzea, Relly Victoria V. Petrescu et al.Civilization besides its major advantages (undisputed) brought us some unhealthy habits which unfortunately have managed to penetrate deeply within several generations on the current planetary populations producing great damages to its health. Perhaps it would be the right time to and more people learning to live healthy, to feed ourselves healthy, let's try to break the chain of evil which … …American Journal of Engineering and Applied Sciences, Vol. 9, Issue 4 · 7 Dec 2016 · 8,567 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractA BROADCAST BASED ROUTING PROTOCOL FOR INTER-CLUSTER DATA DISSEMINATION IN VEHICULAR COMMUNICATIONAuxeeliya Jesudoss, S. V. Kasmir Raja, Ashraph SulaimanVehicular communication is one of the fast growing and promising technologies for a safe and comfortable driving environment. These technologies do not end up with economic and safety ramifications, but also extended with other informational and entertainment oriented services.
