Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractAn Application of the UTAUT Model to Investigate User Acceptance of Facial Recognition Technology in Mobile Banking: A Case Study from ThailandKriangsak Chanthinok, Radyan Dananjoyo, Palan JantarajaturapathThis research examines the determinants affecting consumers' willingness to embrace facial recognition technology for mobile payments in Thailand. Utilizing the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT), the study incorporates eight fundamental constructs: Performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence, facilitating conditions, perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness, attitude toward use, and intention to utilize facial recognition. Furthermore, demographic … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 22, Issue 4 · 16 Apr 2026 · 1,629 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractAn Intrusion Detection Framework for MEC-Enabled IoT NetworksRofaida Tawfik, Abdelfattah Hegazy, Hesham Dahshan, Ahmed Gaber AbuabdallahMobile Edge Computing (MEC) has emerged as a promising paradigm for supporting latency-sensitive Internet of Things (IoT) applications by bringing computational resources closer to data sources. However, the distributed nature of MEC environments increases exposure to network-based security threats, particularly network intrusions that can impact both system reliability and task offloading efficiency. This paper proposes a security-aware framework that integrates … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 22, Issue 4 · 1 Apr 2026 · 1,921 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractImplementation of Mobile Applications and Voice Recognition in an IoT-Based System in the Server Room of PT. Ecocare Indo PasifikRaka Dhaneswara, Alexander Agung Santoso GunawanThe progress made on the Internet of Things (IoT) has given an opportunity to people to have control over their home devices from afar using mobile applications. While PT. Ecocare Indo Pasifik (ecoCare) is still in the first few years of its journey through this new digital transformation era, there are some shortcomings on the way it handles its digital … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 21, Issue 11 · 26 Jan 2026 · 1,435 accessesView PDFCite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractTopological Approach for Mechatronic SystemsDamasse Harold Tchouazong, Jean Bosco SamonIn this study, we propose a topological methodology for mechatronic systems which is much more focused on the mechanical part of the mechatronic system based on the work of Casner. The methodology starts with the optimization of the electronic and control models (control command). Then, a characterization is done to highlight the optimization constraints that may affect the mechanical model. … …Journal of Mechatronics and Robotics, Vol. 8, Issue 1 · 26 Sep 2024 · 7,108 accessesView PDFCite
