Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleMulti-Criteria Trust Establishment for Multi-Agent Systems Based on Fuzzy LogicAbdullah Aref, Eman OmarMulti-Agent Systems (MASs) are increasingly accepted for modeling virtual complex distributed systems, such as virtual societies and smart grids, due to agents’ autonomy, flexibility and pro-activity. As autonomous, goal-driven agents can mislead others intentionally or accidentally by inaccurately reporting their competencies and abilities, the use of trust modeling deemed essential for successful interactions in MASs. The concept of trust is … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 16, Issue 11 · 4 Nov 2020 · 6,828 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleDevelopment of a Fuzzy Logic Controller for Real-time Energy Optimization of a Hybrid vehicleSk. Khairul Hasan, Anoop Kumar DhingraThe ability to combine positive features of an internal combustion engine with those of an electric motor has been fundamental to the advancement of the high-performance energy-optimized hybrid vehicles. However, due to a lack of reliable and realistic hybrid vehicle models, much of the hybrid vehicle controller research has been limited to computer simulations. To overcome this shortcoming, this paper … …Journal of Mechatronics and Robotics, Vol. 4, Issue 1 · 21 Oct 2020 · 6,950 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleTrajectory Tracking Control of UR5 Robot Manipulator Using Fuzzy Gain Scheduling Terminal Sliding Mode ControllerAndualem Welabo, Gebremichael TesfamariamrIn dealing with the trajectory tracking control of robotic manipulator many scholars have had to work in a sliding mode controller. However, SMC has two major limitations one is chattering the other is asymptotical convergence. The chattering problem occurs in traditional SMC due to the switching function of the discontinuous controller and the constant gain parameter of K. Though in … …Journal of Mechatronics and Robotics, Vol. 4, Issue 1 · 24 Jul 2020 · 11,717 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleImproved Fuzzy Logic Controller Implemented on FPGA Circuit for Photovoltaic SystemsAouatif Ibnelouad, Abdeljalil Elkari, Hassan Ayad, Mostafa MjahedTo be the photovoltaic arrays capable to transport the maximum power obtainable, it must be combined with Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT). To succeed, we will improve a Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) method, based on intelligent technique such as Fuzzy Logic Controller (FLC), compared with a conventional method which is P&O. This improved method applied to a stand-alone photovoltaic … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 16, Issue 5 · 5 Jun 2020 · 7,520 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleDecision Support Model for Employee Selection Based on Data Mining and Fuzzy LogicClarissa Elfira Amos Pah, Ditdit Nugeraha UtamaThis paper explains the use of data mining and fuzzy logic in optimizing decision making for employee recruitment, especially in IT Consultant company. This method addresses the company's need to recruit employees with more objective and accurate by utilizing historical data to find patterns of potential employees for the company. First, classification will be carried out using data mining to … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 16, Issue 5 · 4 Jun 2020 · 7,667 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleA Fuzzy Decision Support Model for Cropland Recommendation of Food Cropping in IndonesiaDitdit Nugeraha Utama, Alvali Zaqi Taufan, Al Ghifari Hartzani et al.Indonesia has an incredibly wide area for agriculture. The agriculture area in Indonesia has specific characteristic for each area (e.g., water capacity, land porosity, land height, etc.,). Furthermore, food crop is the most plant planted in Indonesia; rice, corn, red bean, green bean are some important food crops. The study aims to create a Decision Support Model based on fuzzy … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 16, Issue 4 · 29 Apr 2020 · 7,504 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleNew Approach in Application of the AHP–Fuzzy TOPSIS Method in Mineral Potential Mapping of the Natural Bitumen (Gilsonite): A Case Study from the Gilan-e-Gharb Block, the Kermanshah, West of IranElham Rahimi, Younes Shekarian, Salman Mastri Farahani et al.The Gilan-e-Gharb block is known as a prospective area for hydrocarbon resources in the form of oil, gas in deep potential and natural bitumen (Gilsonite) on the surface. Natural bitumen is not clearly detectable by geochemical or geophysical methods. Hereupon, identifying high potential areas for further exploration, attempted with the help of AHP-Fuzzy and TOPSIS methods. The comprehensive database of … …American Journal of Engineering and Applied Sciences, Vol. 13, Issue 1 · 2 Mar 2020 · 7,980 accessesView PDFCite
