Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractPERFORMANCE ANALYSIS OF RANDOMIZED REVERSE AD HOC ON DEMAND DISTANCE VECTOR ROUTING PROTOCOL IN MANETK. Santhi, B. ParvathavarthiniIn high mobility, routing in Mobile Ad-Hoc Network is a very difficult task. In AODV and RAODV, all the data packets are travel through the same shortest path so the intruders can easily trace out the data path. The main objective of Randomized RAODV provides the multipath and then the paths are selected randomly for security purposes. Using randomized routing … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 10, Issue 9 · 30 Apr 2014 · 6,809 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractEVALUATING AN AUTHENTICATED TRUST BASED ADHOC ON DEMAND DISTANCE VECTOR FOR MALICIOUS NODES ISOLATION IN MANETA. Sumathi, B. Vinayaga SundaramMANET networks are defined as the wireless self configuring networks that are capable of operating without the support of any fixed infrastructure and a central coordinator which makes the routing a complicated task. For detecting misbehaving and selfish nodes between the intermediate nodes it is essential to evaluate the Intermediate Trust Value (ITV) for each node in the network, so … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 10, Issue 9 · 30 Apr 2014 · 6,786 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractAN ENHANCED ROUTE FAILURE RECOVERY MODEL FOR MOBILE AD HOC NETWORKSP. R. Jasmine Jeni, A. Vimala Julie, A. Messiah BoseIn Mobile Ad Hoc Networks (MANET), change in topology of the network occurs due to the mobility factor of the nodes leading to the extension in size of the network. The extension of network size happens due to the entry of nodes into the network. As the topology changes, link failure between the nodes takes place due to several reasons … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 10, Issue 8 · 8 Apr 2014 · 6,730 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractQUEUEING MODELS IN MOBILE AD-HOC NETWORKSS. Baskar, S. PalaniammalThe Mobile Ad-hoc Networks (MANETs) has gain an essential part of the attention of researchers and become very well-liked in last few years. MANETs can operate with no fixed communications and can live rapid changes in the network topology. They can be studied officially as graphs in which the set of boundaries varies in time. One of the main methods … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 11, Issue 2 · 26 Dec 2013 · 6,819 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractEFFECTIVE BLACK HOLE ATTACKS IN MANETSRaja Azlina Raja Mahmood, Zurina Mohd Hanapi, Sazlinah Hasan, AsadIqbal KhanBlack hole or packet drop attack is a denial of service attack on routing protocols in which malicious nodes fabricate routing information, attract packets routed through them and then deliberately drop these packets. Most of the black hole attack simulations are performed by constantly fabricating routing information and thus consistently attracting packets to them, which can be easily detected by … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 9, Issue 12 · 25 Nov 2013 · 6,932 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractQUALITY OF SERVICE AWARE OF CROSS LAYER APPROACH ON ADAPTIVE GATEWAY DISCOVERY SCHEME FOR MOBILE AD HOC NETWORKSK. Palani, P. RamamoorthyThe Quality of Service (QoS) providing in Mobile Ad hoc networks has been obtaining increasing importance, specifically Consider the domains of application for networks in disaster environments and defense ventures, QoS is performing level of a service recommended by the network to the consumer. Mobile Ad hoc Networks (MANET) are necessary because of wireless infrastructure network is complicated to setup … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 9, Issue 10 · 5 Sep 2013 · 6,206 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractMESSAGE AUTHENTICATION CODE BASED SECURE GROUP KEY MANAGEMENT PROTOCOL FOR MOBILE AD HOC NETWORKST. Peer Meera Labbai, V. RajamaniA mobile ad hoc network is a group of nodes which are communicating with each other with the use of radio frequencies. When there is high movement of mobile nodes, the nodes find difficult to reach other nodes. If the data are exchanged between nodes when there is high mobility, the data may be lost in transit. Therefore the security … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 9, Issue 10 · 5 Sep 2013 · 6,727 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractLink Stability with Energy Aware Ad Hoc on Demand Multipath Routing Protocol in Mobile Ad Hoc NetworksSenthil Murugan Tamilarasan, Kannan EswariahMobile Ad Hoc Network is one of the wireless network in which mobile nodes are communicate with each other and have no infrastructure because no access point. The MANET protocols can be classified as proactive and reactive routing protocol. The proactive routing protocols, all nodes which participated in network have routing table. This table updated periodically and is used to … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 10, Issue 8 · 24 Jul 2013 · 6,505 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractPerformance Evaluation of Probabilistic Relay in Ad Hoc On-demand Distance Vector and Ad Hoc On-demand Multipath Distance Vector Under Highly Dynamic EnvironmentsRadityo Anggoro, Teruaki Kitasuka, Ryoji Nakamura, Masayoshi AritsugiVehicular Ad hoc Networks (VANETs) are a specific class of Mobile Ad hoc Networks (MANETs). Since vehicles tend to move in a high speed, the network topology is rapidly changed. Thus vehicle’s connectivity problem is one of the interesting issues in VANETs. Ad hoc On-demand Multipath Distance Vector (AOMDV) is an extended version of ad hoc on-demand distance vector (AODV). … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 9, Issue 7 · 22 Jun 2013 · 7,050 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractA New Policy for Path Selection in Dynamic Source Routing Protocol for Mobile Ad-Hoc NetworksRagb O.M. Saleh, Md Yazid Mohd Saman, M. Nordin A. RahmanIn standard DSR protocol, nodes automatically discover and maintain the routes in the network by storing source routes, discovered dynamically on-demand. They maintain route caches that contain the source routes which the node is aware of. Entries are continually updated when new routes are learned and reorder the cached routes according to the traditional shortest path policy. The problem with … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 9, Issue 5 · 17 May 2013 · 6,216 accessesView PDFCite
