Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titlePrice Prediction for Agricultural Commodities in Bandung Regency Based on Functional Link Neural Network and Artifical Bee Colony AlgorithmsFhira Nhita, Deni Saepudin, Andini Paramita et al.In Indonesia, fluctuating agricultural commodity prices often impacts society negatively. In this study, farmers in Bandung Regency, West Java, Indonesia, were chosen as a case study. Fluctuating agricultural commodity prices can lead to farmers suffering losses due to the sale price being smaller or equal to the cost of planting. Price is influenced by crop productivity, while planting productivity is … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 15, Issue 10 · 6 Mar 2019 · 7,910 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleMarkov-Modulated Bernoulli-Based Performance Analysis for Gentle BLUE and BLUE Algorithms under Bursty and Correlated TrafficAdeeb Alsaaidah, Mohd Zalisham, Mohd Fadzli, Hussein Abdel-JaberThis paper presents a performance study for Gentle BLUE (GB) under the bursty and correlated properties of aggregated network traffic. The Bernoulli Process (BP) fails to represent the properties of aggregated correlated and bursty traffic, so instead of that, MMBP has been used. MMBP is A 2D discrete-time Markov chain modeling for GB algorithm with two traffic classes, each with … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 12, Issue 6 · 30 Jun 2016 · 8,083 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleForecasting Air Temperatures Using Time Series Models and Neural-based AlgorithmsMahmoud M. Smadi, Farouq S. MjalliRecently, neural network models have been popular and found useful for forecasting a wide variety of time series data in many disciplines. This is due to their favorable modeling properties of simplicity, fault and noise tolerance and their capability to adapt to process changes. Nevertheless, applications in climatology have been less widespread than other disciplines such as economics. In this … …Journal of Mathematics and Statistics, Vol. 3, Issue 2 · 30 Jun 2007 · 7,275 accessesView PDF Cite
