Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleEssential Proteins Discovery Methods based on the Protein-Protein Interaction NetworksLingZhi Zhu, Junling Zhang, Lingya He et al.Essential proteins are closely related to biological survival or reproduction and have important application value in respect of the location of disease genes, disease diagnosis and treatment, drug design. In order to discovery essential proteins, the researchers have proposed experimental approaches, but these methods require laborious and time consuming. With the development of high-throughput sequencing techniques, plenty of computational methods … …American Journal of Biochemistry and Biotechnology, Vol. 13, Issue 4 · 1 Jan 2018 · 8,891 accessesView PDFCite
Review ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleDeep Learning Approach for Human Action Recognition Using Gated Recurrent Unit Neural Networks and Motion AnalysisNeziha Jaouedi, Noureddine Boujnah, Med Salim BouhlelHuman action recognition is a computer vision task. The evaluation of action recognition algorithms relies on the proper extraction and learning of the data. The success of the deep learning and especially learning layer by layer led to many imposing results in several contexts that include neural network. Here the Recurrent Neural Networks (RNN) with hidden unit has demonstrated advanced … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 15, Issue 7 · 29 Jul 2019 · 8,018 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleComparative Analysis of the Artificial Neural Networks Options Pricing Model Under Constant and Time-Variant VolatilitiesHanningtone Meshack Simiyu, Anthony Gichuhi Waititu, Jane Aduda AkinyiOption pricing using artificial neural networks (ANN) model while relaxing the assumption of constant volatility still remains a challenge. The conventional practice for pure ANN models has been to either model volatility using the very ANN model and have the model output fed as an input to the ANN option pricing model, or to make allowances for a large number … …Journal of Mathematics and Statistics, Vol. 15, Issue 1 · 20 Jul 2019 · 7,010 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleQoS Based IPTV over LTE-WLAN Heterogeneous NetworksMohamed Matoui, Noureddine Moumkine, Abdellah AdibHeterogeneous networks required IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) technologies to perform their control signaling and improve their communication services. However, the highest IPTV-QoS cannot be performed using IMS only as it cannot differentiate between IPTV video components. In this paper, we implement our IPTV-flow label technique in LTE-WLAN heterogeneous systems that used to improve QoS by providing IPTV sub traffic priority … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 15, Issue 4 · 19 Apr 2019 · 7,628 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleImplementation of Homomorphic Encryption for Wireless Sensor Networks Integrated with Cloud InfrastructureChristophe Ishimwe Ngabo, Omar El BeqqaliWith the current explosion of cloud services, it is easy for everyone to store the prodigious amount of data on remote servers. On the other hand, service providers are given full access to our information, or in the worst case, can be intercepted by malicious people. The solution is to encrypt the data to make it completely secret. But then, … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 15, Issue 2 · 8 Feb 2019 · 7,668 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleLarge Deviation, Basic Information Theory for Wireless Sensor NetworksKwabena Doku-AmponsahIn this research paper, we establish Shannon-McMillan-Breiman Theorem for Wireless Sensor Networks modelled as Coloured Geometric Random Networks. For, large n we show that a Wireless Sensor Network consisting of n sensors in [0; 1]d linked by an expected number of edges of order n log n can be transmitted by approximately [n(log n)2 πd/2/(d/2)!] H bits, where H is … …Journal of Mathematics and Statistics, Vol. 13, Issue 4 · 20 Oct 2017 · 7,117 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleA Q-Routing Protocol Using Self-Aware Approach for Mobile Ad hoc NetworksAmal Alharbi, Abdullah Al-Dhalaan, Miznah Al-RodhaanMobile Ad hoc Networks (MANET) are self-organized networks that are characterized by dynamic topologies in time and space. This creates an instable environment, where classical routing approaches cannot achieve high performance. Thus, adaptive routing is necessary to handle the challenges in MANETs. Furthermore, it is necessary for nodes to be self-aware i.e., able to discover neighbors, links and paths when … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 12, Issue 12 · 7 Dec 2015 · 6,463 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleLONG-REACH OPTICAL ACCESS NETWORKS (LR-OANS): A PROMISING CANDIDATE FOR FUTURE OPTICAL ACCESSI.M.M. Mohamed, M.S. Ab-RahmanThe ever-increasing demand for broader bandwidth per user, which results from the continuous development of new bandwidth-hungry services and applications, creates the motivation to upgrade the currently deployed Time-Division Multiplexing Passive Optical Networks (TDM-PONs) to Next-Generation Optical Access Networks (NG-OANs). Beside the need for more bandwidth per user, a further extension in the range and an increase in the split … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 11, Issue 9 · 15 Aug 2014 · 6,704 accessesView PDFCite
