Research ArticleOpen accessAll words, across the recordFuzzy Logic Controller for Static Synchronous Series Compensator with Energy Storage System for Transient Stability AnalysisSona Padma, M. RajaramProblem statement: FACTS devices play a major role in the efficient operation of the complex power system. FACTS devices such as STATCOM, SSSC and IPFC are in increasing usage. With energy storage systems they have a good control over the real as well as reactive power compensation and transient stability improvement. The design of controller for the SSSC with SMES … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 7, Issue 6 · 14 Jun 2011 · 6,699 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessAll words, across the recordSmooth Formant Peak Via Discrete Tchebichef TransformNur Azman Abu, Ferda Ernawan, Fadzilah SalimWith the growth in computing power, speech recognition carries a strong potential in the near future. It has even become increasingly popular with the development of mobile devices. Presumably, mobile devices have limited computational power, memory size and battery life. In general, speech recognition operation requires heavy computation due to large samples per window used. Fast Fourier Transfom (FFT) is … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 11, Issue 2 · 10 Sep 2014 · 7,190 accessesView PDFCite
