Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleADAPTIVE RESOURCE CONTROL MECHANISM THROUGH REPUTATION-BASED SCHEDULING IN HETEROGENEOUS DISTRIBUTED SYSTEMSMasnida Hussin, Rohaya LatipThe service-oriented distributed systems such as Grids and Clouds are unified computing platform that connect and share heterogeneous resources including computation resource, storage resource, information resource and knowledge resource. While these systems provide a vast amount of computing power their reliability are often hard to be guaranteed. It is due to the increased complexity of processing (e.g., overhead, latency) that … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 9, Issue 12 · 25 Nov 2013 · 7,047 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleSpeed Estimation of Adaptive Fuzzy-Controlled Piezo-Electric Motor using MLP-Neural NetworkShebel ALSABBAH, Tariq MUGHRABIThe speed of ultrasonic motor of piezo-electric type is usually measured using mechanical sensors such as pulse encoders. However, these sensors are costly and bulky. In this paper, a numerical speed estimation approach of a piezo-electric motor (PEM) is implemented using multilayer perception neural network (MLP-NN). The proposed model evaluates rotational speed and load torque based on the amplitude and … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 5, Issue 11 · 30 Nov 2008 · 6,785 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleAdaptive Complementary Metal-Oxide-Semiconductor Device by Externally Controlled Gate Oxide ThicknessB. Gopi, R. S.D. WahidabanuProblem statement: Since the advent of IC and VLSI technology, the demand for high-speed devices and equipment is growing very rapidly. Every individual researcher is marching towards the dream of achieving it. The role of a design engineer is becoming more challenging. As per Moore’s law, the packing density doubles every eighteen months. This is possible only by scaling down … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 8, Issue 4 · 1 Feb 2012 · 7,103 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the keywordsA Dynamically Zero Trust and Risk Aware Cryptographic Orchestration Framework of Secure Multi Cloud Electronic Health RecordsD. Veerabhadra Rao, G. Appa Rao, S. AnuradhaThe adoption of multi-cloud infrastructures for Electronic Health Records (EHRs) improves scalability and accessibility but introduces security challenges such as fragmented trust management, high cryptographic overhead, and inefficient integrity verification. Existing frameworks rely on static authorization and uniform encryption mechanisms, which fail to dynamically evaluate behavioural risks associated with user access requests. Consequently, Distributed Trust Inconsistency, Cryptographic Scalability Saturation, and … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 22, Issue 10 · 7 Oct 2026 · 453 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the keywordsAI-Integrated Probabilistic Optimization for Inventory Control Under Stochastic DemandJanardan BeheraThe identification and operationalization of increasingly nonstationary and volatile demand patterns challenge the conduct of inventory management in contemporary supply chains. The classical models, especially EOQ and static policies, rest on the stability of demand assumptions, either deterministically or distributionally, and are hence less apt under real-world uncertainty. In view of these limitations, the present study puts forward an integrated … …Journal of Mathematics and Statistics, Vol. 22, Issue 1 · 6 May 2026 · 2,217 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the keywordsUsing an Adaptative Fuzzy-Logic System to Optimize the Performances and the Reduction of Chattering Phenomenon in the Control of Induction MotorM. M. Krishan, L. Barazane, A. KhwaldehProblem statement: Neural networks and fuzzy inference systems are becoming well-recognized tools of designing an identifier/controller capable of perceiving the operating environment and imitating a human operator with high performance. Also, by combining these two features, more versatile and robust models, called “neuro-fuzzy” architectures have been developed. The mo Approach: Motivation behind the use of neuro-fuzzy approaches was based on … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 7, Issue 1 · 31 Jan 2010 · 7,523 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the keywordsLiDAR-Based Obstacle Detection and Avoidance for Navigation and Control of an Unmanned Ground Robot Using Model Predictive ControlSai Charan Dekkata, Sun Yi, M. A. Muktadir, Selorm GarfoUnmanned Ground Vehicles (UGVs) have, as of late, been utilized in a wide assortment of utilizations because of their flexibility, diminished expense, and quick response, among other benefits. Search and Rescue (SAR) is quite possibly the most conspicuous zones for the work of UGVs instead of a monitored mission, mainly due to its impediments on the expenses, human resources, and … …Journal of Mechatronics and Robotics, Vol. 7, Issue 1 · 30 Mar 2023 · 8,213 accessesView PDF Cite
