Research ArticleOpen accessIn the author namesDesign and Evaluation of a Blockchain-Integrated Secure Cloud Storage SystemWalde Rajesh Baliram, Bashir Alam, M. N. DojaCloud storage is a critical part of modern computer systems that has a centralized structure, which opens sensitive data to security risks, including unauthorized access, insider threats, and data tampering. In order to mitigate these issues, this paper proposed a novel cloud storage system with built-in blockchain, AES-256 encryption, access control using smart contracts, and a dual-hash integrity check system. … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 22, Issue 7 · 22 Jul 2026 · 911 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the author namesDoes Monetary Policy Stimulates Macroeconomic Performance during Economic Downturn in Nigeria?Bashir Adelowo Wahab, Sam-Siso Ebasi OkrinyaThis study investigated the relationship between monetary policy and macroeconomic performance in Nigeria during 1981-2018. The stochastic properties of the time series data were examined using both conventional and unit root tests with structural breaks to account for shift dummy in the series. Their results indicates that the series are combination of both I(0) and I(1) in the same specification … …Journal of Social Sciences, Vol. 16, Issue 1 · 11 Feb 2020 · 8,269 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the author namesNumerical Analysis of Lattice Structures for Skin Layer in Camber Morphing WingBashir Alsaidi, Woong Yeol Joe, Muhammad AkbarUnlike conventional fixed wings and their static skin structure considering only expected aerodynamic loadings while filight, design strategies of skin structure for morphing wings require careful consideration of structural loading from shape changes and aerodynamics and their coupled effects in flight. Many morphing wings often overlook skin material and structure for the wing design. In addition to that, many works … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 16, Issue 6 · 15 Jul 2019 · 7,740 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the author namesTask Scheduling in Real Time Systems with Energy Harvesting and Energy MinimizationArvind Kumar, Bashir AlamEnergy is a major concern in battery operated real time devices (e.g. sensor nodes situated in remote areas) as battery life is solely responsible for the functioning of such devices. For such systems to work continuously and successively a regular source of energy is required. The lifetime of such systems can be increased by reducing the energy consumption and increasing … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 14, Issue 8 · 15 Aug 2018 · 8,287 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the author namesINTERVENTION OF PHARMACOGENETIC PROFILING IN THERAPEUTICS OF KASHMIRI POPULATION, A LESSON LEARNED FROM CYP3A5*3 VARIANTAshaqullah Bhat, Aadil Wani, Rajinder Kaur et al.Human Cytochrome P450 3A, a variant of Cytochrome P-450- dependent monooxygenases is a major drug metabolizing enzyme. CYP3A has evolved to catalyze the biotransformation of its substrate. A great deal of inter-individual variation in expression levels exists for CYP3A5 gene. The common polymorphism in CYP3A5 that induces a cryptic splice site has been shown to cause a significant reduction in … …OnLine Journal of Biological Sciences, Vol. 14, Issue 3 · 10 Jul 2014 · 7,215 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the author namesANFIS Aided AODV Routing Protocolfor Mobile Ad Hoc NetworksVivek Sharma, Bashir Alam, M. N. DojaCommunication between mobile nodes is the key purpose of Mobile Ad Hoc Networks (MANETs). However, increase in the traffic leads to multiple challenging issues like congestion among nodes, consumption of more bandwidth, high energy requirement and low efficiency output. A powerful solution to these issues of the MANET is to use intelligent routing protocols. The Adaptive Neural Fuzzy Inference System … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 13, Issue 10 · 12 Oct 2017 · 7,429 accessesView PDFCite

The common thing among all the new techniques is that they deal with not just Data but Big Data. Users store various kinds of data on cloud repositories. Cloud Database Management System deals with these large sets of data. Cloud Database service provider deals with many … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 13, Issue 7 · 14 Jul 2017 · 7,566 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the author namesCan Emotional Stability Buffer the Effect of Job Stress on Deviant Behavior?Aminah Ahmad, Zoharah Omar, Farah Mardiana Radzali, Mohammed Bashir SaiduThe interrelationships between job stress, WDB and emotional stability have not been studied in a model to comprehend whether emotional stability could weaken the impact of job stress on employee deviant behavior. We tested a model on the moderating role of emotional stability, a personality factor, in the relationship between job stress and workplace deviant behavior. The model was developed … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 14, Issue 7 · 30 Jun 2017 · 8,595 accessesView PDFCite
