Research ArticleOpen accessAll words, across the recordCommunity Aware Recommendation System with Explicit and Implicit Link PredictionMuhammed E Abd Alkhalec Tharwat, Mohd Farhan Md Fudzee, Shahreen Kasim et al.Recommendation systems are essential tools that help users discover content they may be interested in, amidst the vast amount of information available online. However, current methods, such as using historical user-item interactions and collaborative filtering, have limitations in accurately predicting user preferences. Our research aims to address these challenges and improve the performance of recommendation systems. In this article, we … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 19, Issue 8 · 19 Jul 2023 · 5,858 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessAll words, across the recordAbsolute Measures of Interindividual Variation: A Simulation StudyJosé Moral-de la RubiaFour absolute measures and one relative measure of interindividual variability have been defined, together with their point and interval estimation (bootstrap and asymptotic), and an R script has been developed for their computation. However, further simulation studies are required to strengthen their methodological evaluation. This study focused on the three absolute measures with potentially better regularity conditions, Mean Interindividual Differences … …Journal of Mathematics and Statistics, Vol. 22, Issue 1 · 4 Aug 2026 · 957 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessAll words, across the recordPERFORMANCE ANALYSIS OF HIGH EFFICIENCY LOW DENSITY PARITY-CHECK CODE DECODER FOR LOW POWER APPLICATIONSM. Revathy, R. SaravananIn this study, we propose a low power, high efficient Low Density Parity-Check Code (LDPC) Decoder Architecture for error detection and correction applications. LDPC codes have been adopted in latest wireless standards such as satellite and mobile communications since they possess superior error-detecting and correcting capabilities. As technology scales, memory devices become larger and more powerful and low power consumption … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 11, Issue 4 · 30 Jan 2014 · 6,882 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessAll words, across the recordA Comparison between Electrical and Optical Chromatic Dispersion Compensation in Wavelength Divison Multiplexing Network Regarding to Electrical Pulse ShapesMohammad Syuhaimi Ab-Rahman, Majid MoghaddasiProblem statement: Besides of some impairment that has been inherited form single channel, specialists confronted with new obstacles in WDM implementation which bared them for achieving desired performance. Although Chromatic Dispersion (CD) exists in single channel too, it can worsens new nonlinearities which are occurs just in WDM systems. So CD compensation in WDM is even more vital than single … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 8, Issue 1 · 29 Oct 2011 · 6,920 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessAll words, across the recordPAPR Reduction Using BPSO/PTS and STBC in MIMO OFDM SystemKarima El Mouhib, Ahmed Oquour, Younes Jabrane et al.Problem statement: The Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO) Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) system has been receiving a great attention, as one of solutions for achieving high speed, efficient and high-quality service for the wireless communications. However, the transmitted signal still has high PAPR because of OFDM characteristics. Many methods have been proposed to solve this problem, but the most … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 7, Issue 4 · 4 Apr 2011 · 7,189 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessAll words, across the recordEstimation Techniques for Monitoring and Controlling the Performance of the Computer Communication NetworksIbrahiem M.M. El Emary, Adanan I. Al RabiaThis study was concerned with making a comparative study between four types of time series model with the goal of choosing the optimum one to predict the performance of a computer communication network. The investigated four types of time series are: Least Square (LS), Fourier series, Exponential Weighted Moving Average (EWMA) and the Auto Regressive Integrated Moving Average (ARIMA).
