Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractThe Use of Neural Networks in Real-time Face DetectionKevin Curran, Xuelong Li, Neil M. CaughleyAs continual research is being conducted in the area of computer vision, one of the most practical applications under vigorous development is in the construction of a robust real-time face detection system. Successfully constructing a real-time face detection system not only implies a system capable of analyzing video streams, but also naturally leads onto the solution to the problems of … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 1, Issue 1 · 31 Mar 2005 · 7,017 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractExtending UML-RT for Control System ModelingQimin Gao, L. J. Brown, L. F. CapretzThere is a growing interest in adopting object technologies for the development of real-time control systems. Several commercial tools, currently available, provide object-oriented modeling and design support for real-time control systems. While these products provide many useful facilities, such as visualization tools and automatic code generation, they are all weak in addressing the central characteristic of real-time control systems design, … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 1, Issue 4 · 31 Dec 2004 · 6,743 accessesView PDFCite
