Research ArticleOpen accessAll words, across the recordEvaluation of Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO) System Capacity with Spatial CorrelationsT. Gunasekaran, K. R. Shankar KumarProblem statement: Today’s wireless technologies just won’t get us to the hyper connectivity of uninterrupted access from any mobile device with unlimited bandwidth at real-time speeds. This is due to the low data throughput and scarcity in spectrum. Approach: Under the condition of uncorrelated antenna elements, capacity of the Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO) system can be increased linearly with … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 7, Issue 10 · 4 Aug 2011 · 8,108 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessAll words, across the recordMulti Microkernel Operating Systems for Multi-Core ProcessorsRami MatarnehProblem statement: In the midst of the huge development in processors industry as a response to the increasing demand for high-speed processors manufacturers were able to achieve the goal of producing the required processors, but this industry disappointed hopes, because it faced problems not amenable to solution, such as complexity, hard management and large consumption of energy. These problems forced … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 5, Issue 7 · 31 Jul 2009 · 7,547 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessAll words, across the recordA Simple Scheme for Improved Performance of Fixed Outage Rate Cellular SystemHussein M.Aziz Basi, M. B.R. MurthyThe traffic characteristic of mobile cellular systems is rather distinct from that of a fixed telephone network. However the system planning and design are still carried out with the tools of conventional traffic theory. In the recent days much work is being done in the performance evaluation of mobile or cellular communication systems in order to develop a system with … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 1, Issue 3 · 30 Sep 2004 · 7,078 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessAll words, across the recordEnergy Consumption and Environmental Implications of Wired Access NetworksSlavisa Aleksic, Ana LovricProblem statement: Wired broadband Internet access can be realized using various technologies, configurations and protocols. It is widely deployed and able to provide both high data rates and high reliability. These features are of strong importance for many advanced applications. Since the number of broadband subscribers worldwide grows exponentially, the power efficiency of access networks becomes increasingly important. Approach: The … …American Journal of Engineering and Applied Sciences, Vol. 4, Issue 4 · 18 Jan 2012 · 8,763 accessesView PDF Cite
