LeeData mining has becoming increasingly popular in helping to reveal important knowledge from the organization's databases and has led to the emergence of a variety of data mining tools to help in decision making. Present study described a test bed to investigate five major data mining tools, namely IBM intelligent miner, SPSS Clementine, SAS enterprise miner, oracle data miner and … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 4, Issue 10 · 31 Oct 2008 · 6,604 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the keywordsMODULATION IDENTIFICATION AND HAMMING ENCODING TECHNIQUE IMPLEMENTED IN SOFTWARE-DEFINED RADIOS. Ravi, M. Anand, S. Leones Sherwin Vimalraj, V. KannanIn SDR, it is advantageous if the data is transmitted using the best among the various modulation techniques with respect to SNR. The receiver has the ability to automatically identify the modulation technique and demodulate it. This process involves a novel method where a pilot sequence helps in identifying the type of modulation at the receiver. Ten modulation techniques are … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 11, Issue 4 · 8 Feb 2014 · 6,895 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractDesign and Evaluation of a Blockchain-Integrated Secure Cloud Storage SystemWalde Rajesh Baliram, Bashir Alam, M. N. DojaCloud storage is a critical part of modern computer systems that has a centralized structure, which opens sensitive data to security risks, including unauthorized access, insider threats, and data tampering. In order to mitigate these issues, this paper proposed a novel cloud storage system with built-in blockchain, AES-256 encryption, access control using smart contracts, and a dual-hash integrity check system. … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 22, Issue 7 · 22 Jul 2026 · 917 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractDeep Learning Models for Predicting Stock Closing Prices in the Saudi Stock MarketAreej Alhumaidi, Hoda A. AbdelhafezFinancial time series data are inherently volatile and nonlinear, presenting considerable challenges in accurately forecasting stock market trends. This study aims to predict the closing prices of companies listed on the Saudi stock market by analyzing historical data spanning from 2013 to 2023. To this end, four deep learning models were employed-Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM), Bidirectional LSTM (Bi-LSTM), Gated Recurrent … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 22, Issue 4 · 22 Apr 2026 · 1,363 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractComparative Analysis of Neural Network Models for Predicting EUR/USD Direction: An Empirical StudyEl Badaoui Mohamed, Raouyane Brahim, El Moumen Samira, Bellafkih MostafaThis paper presents a rigorous comparative analysis of six feedforward neural network models for predicting the directional movement of the EUR/USD currency pair. The evaluated models include the Learning Vector Quantization, Cascade Neural Network, Feedforward Neural Network, Single Layer Perceptron, Multi-Layer Perceptron, and Radial Basis Function network. Utilizing daily historical data from April 2009 to May 2024, each model was … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 22, Issue 1 · 3 Feb 2026 · 2,340 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractExploratory Data Analysis of Applications of Encryption for Netflix by ML ModelsAnanth Maria Pushpa, Subramanian ShanmugamThis study examines the performance of various machine learning algorithms in analyzing Netflix's dataset, with a focus on encryption methods used for data protection. We evaluated several models including Ada BoostM1, IBk, Random Forest, and Decision Stump using multiple performance metrics. This work analysis revealed that the Ada BoostM1 model achieved the highest accuracy at 97.14%, outperforming other algorithms. Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractIntelligent Intrusion Detection System Using RF, SVM, and DT: A Comparison-Based KDD Data SetWalaa Hassan Elashmawi, Alaa Sheta, Ahmad Al-QeremThe rapid growth of technology has brought about many advantages, but has also made networks more susceptible to security threats. Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS) play a vital role in protecting computer networks against malicious activities. Given the dynamic and constantly evolving nature of cyber threats, these systems must continuously adapt to maintain their effectiveness. Machine Learning (ML) methods have gained … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 21, Issue 8 · 28 Aug 2025 · 5,821 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractHybrid SIFT-DCT Approach for Face Matching of BuddhaStatues: Addressing Negative Similarity Metrics with SHashingLinda Marlinda, Fikri Budiman et al.Art and cultural heritage rely on image processing techniques forpreservation and analysis. A key challenge in this study is accuratelydetecting highly similar Buddha faces despite variations in lighting, rotation, and minor facial differences. This paper proposes a Content-Based ImageRetrieval (CBIR) framework that integrates Discrete Cosine Transform(DCT) and Scale-Invariant Feature Transform (SIFT) to enhance face-matching accuracy. The system is tested on a … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 21, Issue 7 · 29 Jul 2025 · 3,493 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractEnhancing Quality of Service of Video Streaming Applications Over Vehicular Ad-Hoc NetworksPooja Sharma, Ajay KaulVehicular ad-hoc networks play quite an important role in communication as it is challenging to have communication across VANET nodes because of high mobility. Video streaming applications over ad-hoc networks are quite difficult because of more mobility of VANET nodes. There are various existing techniques to optimize or improve the video dissemination over ad-hoc networks. Video streaming applications need a … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 21, Issue 7 · 30 Jun 2025 · 3,393 accessesView PDFCite
