Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleAN EFFICIENT AUTONOMOUS KEY MANAGEMENT WITH REDUCED COMMUNICATION/COMPUTATION COSTS IN MOBILE AD HOC NETWORKM. Devi, S. Chenthur PandianA primary concern in Mobile Ad Hoc Networks (MANETs) is security. Secret sharing is an effective way to distribute a secret among n parties, where each party holds one piece of the secret. A number of key management schemes have been proposed for MANETs. However the secret sharing to control key hierarchy needs larger message transmission costs in many techniques. … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 9, Issue 10 · 5 Sep 2013 · 6,778 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleApplication of Near Field Communication Technology for Mobile Airline TicketingWayan SupartaProblem statement: Near Field Communication (NFC) technology opens up exciting new usage scenarios for mobile devices based platform. Users of NFC-enabled devices can simply point or touch their devices to other NFC-enabled elements in the environment to communicate with them (‘contactless’), making application and data usage easy and convenient. Approach: The study describes the characteristics and advantages of NFC technology … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 8, Issue 8 · 12 Jul 2012 · 7,483 accessesView PDFCite

Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleSecurity Challenges in Multicast Communication for Mobile Ad Hoc NetworkS. Gunasekaran, K. DuraiswamyProblem statement: Multicasting communication network accepted a single message from an application and delivered copies of the message to multiple recipients at different locations. Recently, there has been an explosion of research literature on multicast communication environment. The objective of this study were to contribute the complexity of supporting current multicast applications, (i) the lack of reliable multicast transport mechanisms … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 6, Issue 5 · 31 May 2010 · 6,125 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleTRUSTWORTHY ENABLED RELIABLE COMMUNICATION ARCHITECTURE IN MOBILE AD HOC NETWORKSaravanan Dhavamani, Chandarasekaran Ramasamy, M. G. Sharavana KumarAd hoc networks are widely used in military and other scientific area. There are various kind of routing protocols are available to establish the route, with the proper analyzation one can choose the routing protocol to form their own network with respect to number of nodes and security considerations. The mobility of nodes makes the environment infrastructure less. It also … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 10, Issue 7 · 12 Feb 2014 · 6,995 accessesView PDFCite
Technical ReportOpen accessIn the keywordsA Mobile Ad hoc Cloud Computing and Networking Infrastructure for Automated Video Surveillance SystemSayed Chhattan ShahMobile automated video surveillance system involves application of real-time image and video processing algorithms which require a vast quantity of computing and storage resources. To support the execution of mobile automated video surveillance system, a mobile ad hoc cloud computing and networking infrastructure is proposed in which multiple mobile devices interconnected through a mobile ad hoc network are combined to … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 13, Issue 12 · 23 Dec 2017 · 8,500 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the keywordsSpeech Enhancement Algorithm Using Sub band Two Step Decision Directed Approach with Adaptive Weighting factor and Noise Masking ThresholdDeepa Dhanaskodi, Shanmugam ArumugamProblem statement: Speech Enhancement plays an important role in any of the speech processing systems like speech recognition, mobile communication, hearing aid. Approach: In this work, human perceptual auditory masking effect is incorporated into the single channel speech enhancement algorithm. The algorithm is based on a criterion by which the audible noise may be masked rather than being attenuated and … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 7, Issue 6 · 14 Jun 2011 · 7,126 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the keywordsCache Management for Concurrent Transaction Execution in Mobile Wireless EnvironmentJ.C. Miraclin Joyce Pamila, K. ThanushkodiProblem statement: Improvement in mobile communication technology and increased capability of mobile devices has made transaction processing possible with mobile devices. Transactions access services provided by the data server connected to the packet data network. Direct data access may overload the network and server.
