Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleAn Extended Version of the Fuzzy-Euclidean Intelligent Fitness Model (FEIFM) Implementation for Selecting Personal VehicleCalvin Chang, Edwin, Ditdit Nugeraha UtamaIndeed, intelligent model is a sub-domain in computer science that its purposes utilized in numerous pieces of reality. Particularly in case of automotive industry, to select the most appropriate personal vehicle is challenging for the customers. The challenge was taken as a main problem of this study. In this research, the reasonableness is characterized by the customer parameters which portray … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 15, Issue 8 · 9 Aug 2019 · 7,623 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleESTIMATED AND ANALYSIS OF THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THE ENDOGENOUS AND EXOGENOUS VARIABLES USING FUZZY SEMI-PARAMETRIC SAMPLE SELECTION MODELL. MuhamadSafiih, A. A. Kamil, M. T. Abu OsmanAn important progress within the last decade in the development of the selectivity model approach to overcome the inconsistent results if the distributional assumptions of the errors terms are made this problem is through the use of semi-parametric method. However, the uncertainties and ambiguities exist in the models, particularly the relationship between the endogenous and exogenous variables. A new framework … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 11, Issue 9 · 15 Jul 2014 · 6,786 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleDevelopment of Software Reliability Growth Models for Industrial Applications Using Fuzzy LogicSultan AljahdaliProblem statement: The utilization of Software Reliability Growth Models (SRGM) plays a major role in monitoring progress, accurately predicting the number of faults in the software during both development and testing processes; define the release date of a software product, helps in allocating resources and estimating the cost for software maintenance. This leads to achieving the required reliability level of … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 7, Issue 10 · 9 Aug 2011 · 7,007 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleA Hybrid Approach based on Winter's Model and Weighted Fuzzy Time Series for Forecasting Trend and Seasonal DataSuhartono, Muhammad Hisyam LeeProblem statement: In the literature, the most studied of fuzzy time series for the purpose of forecasting is the first order fuzzy time series model. In this model, only the first lagged variable is used when constructing the first order fuzzy time series model. Therefore, such approaches fail to analyze accurately trend and seasonal time series which is an important … …Journal of Mathematics and Statistics, Vol. 7, Issue 3 · 18 Jul 2011 · 7,942 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleDirect Model Reference Adaptive Controller Based-On Neural-Fuzzy Techniques for Nonlinear Dynamical SystemsHafizah Husain, Marzuki Khalid, Rubiyah YusofThis paper presents a direct neural-fuzzy-based Model Reference Adaptive Controller (MRAC) for nonlinear dynamical systems with unknown parameters. The two-phase learning is implemented to perform structure identification and parameter estimation for the controller. In the first phase, similarity index-based fuzzy c-means clustering technique extracts the fuzzy rules in the premise part for the neural-fuzzy controller. This technique enables the recruitment … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 5, Issue 7 · 31 Jul 2008 · 6,939 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleFuzzy Logic-Based Truck Demand Computational ModelAnugrah Mauludin, Ditdit Nugeraha UtamaTrucking is one of the essential aspects linking suppliers and customers in many countries. Services at a trucking service provider will be based on a first-come-first-served basis. When a customer contacts a trucking service provider, there is a possibility that all the truck units owned are in fact being used to serve other customers causing potential delays in their delivery … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 19, Issue 9 · 19 Aug 2023 · 5,468 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleA Fuzzy Decision Support Model for Cropland Recommendation of Food Cropping in IndonesiaDitdit Nugeraha Utama, Alvali Zaqi Taufan, Al Ghifari Hartzani et al.Indonesia has an incredibly wide area for agriculture. The agriculture area in Indonesia has specific characteristic for each area (e.g., water capacity, land porosity, land height, etc.,). Furthermore, food crop is the most plant planted in Indonesia; rice, corn, red bean, green bean are some important food crops. The study aims to create a Decision Support Model based on fuzzy … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 16, Issue 4 · 29 Apr 2020 · 7,504 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleAPPLICATION OF A FUZZY-SIMULATION MODEL OF SCHEDULING ROBOTIC FLEXIBLE ASSEMBLY CELLSKhalid Abd, Kazem Abhary, Romeo MarianThis study describes the application of the developed model to the scheduling of the Robotic Flexible Assembly Cells (RFACs). The present study is a continuation of the paper titled “Development of a Fuzzy-Simulation Model of Scheduling Robotic Flexible Assembly Cells”. This new model for multi-objective scheduling problems in RFACs was based on combining a fuzzy-based mathematical model with simulation software … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 9, Issue 12 · 25 Nov 2013 · 6,738 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleDEVELOPMENT OF A FUZZY-SIMULATION MODEL OF SCHEDULING ROBOTIC FLEXIBLE ASSEMBLY CELLSKhalid Abd, Kazem Abhary, Romeo MarianDue to the complexity of scheduling flexible manufacturing systems, the generation of production schedules requires an intelligent technique. Many artificial intelligence techniques such as fuzzy logic, genetic algorithms and neural networks have been successfully applied to the scheduling of advanced manufacturing systems. One such system is Robotic Flexible Assembly Cells (RFACs). Few studies have addressed the problem of scheduling RFACs. … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 9, Issue 12 · 25 Nov 2013 · 6,791 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleMODELING AND SIMULATION OF FUZZY BASED AUTOMATIC INSULIN DELIVERY SYSTEMSunithaKarnam Anantha, Senthil Kumar Natarajan, Subransu Sekar DashThe aim is to design a complete online, automatic, intelligent and independent insulin delivery system. The proposed system calculates the amount of insulin by formulation based upon two linguistic factors i.e. weight and blood glucose levels. These factors have been used to develop a rule based fuzzy system in LabVIEW. The fuzziness brings a better regulation into the regime than … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 9, Issue 9 · 6 Aug 2013 · 6,623 accessesView PDFCite
