Research ArticleOpen accessIn the keywordsConstruction of Control Charts Using Fuzzy Multinomial QualityV. Amirzadeh, M. Mashinchi, M.A. YaghoobiControl charts are the simplest type of on-line statistical process control techniques. One of the basic control charts is P-chart. In classical P-charts, each item classifies as either "nonconforming" or "conforming" to the specification with respect to the quality characteristic. In practice, one may classify each item in more than two categories such as "bad", "medium", "good", and "excellent". Based … …Journal of Mathematics and Statistics, Vol. 4, Issue 1 · 31 Mar 2008 · 7,530 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractAttribute Reduction in Bipolar Intuitionistic Fuzzy Relation SystemWeiyuan Wang, Qian WangBipolar intuitionistic fuzzy relation system (BIFRS) effectively characterize the bipolarity in real-world data by introducing positive and negative membership and non-membership degrees. To address redundancy caused by high-dimensional attributes, this paper proposes an attribute reduction method based on bipolar intuitionistic discernibility matrices. By constructing positive discernibility matrix M+∗ matrix M−∗ and negative discernibility , we systematically identify the minimal attribute … …Journal of Mathematics and Statistics, Vol. 22, Issue 1 · 16 Jul 2026 · 1,063 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractImproved Fuzzy Logic Controller Implemented on FPGA Circuit for Photovoltaic SystemsAouatif Ibnelouad, Abdeljalil Elkari, Hassan Ayad, Mostafa MjahedTo be the photovoltaic arrays capable to transport the maximum power obtainable, it must be combined with Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT). To succeed, we will improve a Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) method, based on intelligent technique such as Fuzzy Logic Controller (FLC), compared with a conventional method which is P&O. This improved method applied to a stand-alone photovoltaic … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 16, Issue 5 · 5 Jun 2020 · 7,520 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractFuzzy Modeling for Multi-Label Text Classification Supported by Classification AlgorithmsBeatriz Wilges, Gustavo Mateus, Silvia Nassar et al.The ever-increasing amount of information on the Web is organized in structured, semi-structured and unstructured data. Text classification systems, capable of handling such different structures, may facilitate the work of important tasks such as indexation and information retrieval in search engines. The objective of this research is to develop a method for the classification of documents into multiple categories with … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 12, Issue 7 · 22 Aug 2016 · 7,215 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractFUZZY SHRINK IMAGE DENOISING USING SMOOTHING SPLINE ESTIMATIONG.M. Rajathi, R. Rangarajan, R. Haripriya, R. NithyaThe image data is normally corrupted by additive noise during acquisition. This reduces the accuracy and reliability of any automatic analysis. For this reason, denoising methods are often applied to restore the original image. In proposed method a wavelet shrinkage algorithm based on fuzzy logic and the DT-DWT scheme is used. In particular, intra-scale dependency within wavelet coefficients is modeled … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 10, Issue 10 · 9 Jul 2014 · 6,681 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractAssessment of Ecotourism Travel Risk on Word-of-Mouth: Via Fuzzy Set PerspectiveFangyi Liu, Cheng-Hsi Fang, Hsueh-Lan Chan, Tom Meng-Yen LinBecause of the subjective cognition on Word-Of Mouth (WOM) influence and the fuzziness on perceived-risk judgment, perceived risk in WOM Influence is a venture variable, which cannot be measured directly. The aim of this study is to define the mathematics meaning of the influence and develop a new fuzzy set method to build the influence membership function to exactly measure … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 10, Issue 5 · 31 May 2013 · 7,143 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractDesign and Development of an Intelligent Control by Using Bee Colony Optimization TechniqueS. Tiacharoen, T. ChatchanayuenyongProblem statement: In the modern industrial manufacturing system, the efficiency of machine control is essential to reduce waste and increase the output. Most of the manufacturing machines employ an induction motor in their driving system. A number of induction motors must be controlled during machine operation. The more accurately these motors are controlled the higher is the quality of the … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 9, Issue 9 · 4 Aug 2012 · 6,806 accessesView PDFCite
