Research ArticleOpen accessPhrase in the titleNEURO FUZZY BASED PERFORMANCE ANALYSIS OF MULTIBAND ULTRA WIDE BAND ORTHOGONAL FREQUENCY DIVISION MULTIPLEXING SYSTEMG. Joselin Retna Kumar, K. S. ShajiThis study proposes an efficient channel-estimation scheme for Multiband (MB) Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM)-based Ultra Wide Band (UWB) communication systems. One of the challenges in wireless system is the frequency selective fading caused due to multipath channel between the transmitter and receiver. The signal bandwidth in broad band cellular wireless systems typically exceeds the coherence bandwidth of the multipath … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 10, Issue 8 · 5 Mar 2014 · 6,616 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessPhrase in the titlePerformance Analysis of Discrete Wavelet Transform Based Multiple Input Multiple Output Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing System for Different Wavelets in Different Channel EnvironmentHariprasadNagarajan, AlameluNachiappanMultiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO) and Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) are the two assuring technologies that offers high data rate as required for the 4G wireless systems. Conventionally OFDM is Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) based system. It uses IFFT (Inverse FFT) blocks in the transmitter and FFT blocks in the receiver. OFDM combined with MIMO gives increased throughput and … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 10, Issue 12 · 18 Oct 2013 · 6,616 accessesView PDFCite

In this context, several telecommunication technologies are often used to connect the vehicles via continuous wireless communication with the infrastructure, exchange data and information relevant to increase overall road safety and enable cooperative traffic management. These systems are not reliable for all situations and the … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 9, Issue 10 · 5 Sep 2013 · 7,009 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessPhrase in the titlePeak to Average Power Ratio Reduction of Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing System with a Significant Low ComplexityMahamod Ismail, J. S. Mandeep, Montadar Abas Taher, M. T. IslamThe Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) has been widely used in many applications in the last decade. It provides good benefits compared to the single carrier systems. However, it has a bad property represented by the high-output Peak to Average Power Ratio (PAPR) which is considered as its major problem. There are many techniques to reduce the PAPR values such … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 9, Issue 12 · 20 Dec 2012 · 6,589 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessPhrase in the titlePeak-to-Average Power Ratio Reduction Using Active Constellation Extension-Projection Onto Convex Sets Combined with Particle Swarm Optimization Added to Space Time Bloc Coding in Multiple Input Multiple Output-Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing SystemAhmed Ouqour, Abdelhamid Louliej, Younes Jabrane et al.When generated Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) signal is transmitted through a number of antennas in order to achieve diversity or cap any gain (higher transmission rate) then it is known as Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO)-OFDM. The full form of MIMO is multi input and multi output where signals are transmitted via multiple antennas instead of only one antenna … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 8, Issue 12 · 12 Dec 2012 · 6,989 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessPhrase in the titleSymbol Timing Estimation in Multiband Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing based Ultrawide band SystemM. N. Suresh, S. J. Thiruvengadam, V. AbhaikumarProblem statement: The Multiband Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (MB-OFDM) Based Ultra Wideband system (UWB) is highly susceptible to symbol timing error. Symbol timing estimation in MB-OFDM based UWB is difficult due to the presence of strongest path at delayed instant. Approach: Symbol timing estimation has two steps namely a coarse estimation and a fine estimation. In this study, a maximum … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 9, Issue 4 · 10 Feb 2012 · 7,101 accessesView PDFCite
