Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractOntology Based Knowledge Management System Design for Organic FarmingMuqeem Ahmed, Afrah Fathima, Mohammad Islam et al.In the current agricultural system, information is often gathered manually, and farmers make decisions based on their judgment. Occasionally, they seek advice from experts and extension officers. Numerous information systems have recently emerged, offering insights into organic farming practices. However, this information is dispersed across various contexts, formats, and media on the Internet, making it challenging to access. Utilizing ontology … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 22, Issue 3 · 25 Mar 2026 · 1,443 accessesView PDFCite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractDesign a New Bidirectional Transmission Protocol to Improve the Performance of MAC Layer Based on Very High Speed WLANsAli Ahmad Milad, Zul Azri Bin Muhamad Noh, Abdul Samad Shibghatullah et al.This paper presents a new bidirectional transmission protocol with single data frame to computing the performance of MAC layer based on IEEE 802.11n. As high as 600 Mbps of physical data rate is achieved in IEEE 802.11n where high data rate the current MAC layer leads to high performance overhead and low performance of throughput and designing the MAC layer … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 11, Issue 5 · 23 Jun 2015 · 6,952 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractPrevention of Spoofing Attacks in the Infrastructure Wireless NetworksWesam S. Bhaya, Samraa A. AlAsadyProblem statement: Spoofing Attack is one of the vulnerabilities in the wireless networks, which is a situation in which the intruder successfully masquerades as legal one. Spoofing Attacks will decrease the performance of the network and violate many security issues. In the networks that use MAC address based filtering approach to authenticate the clients, the spoofer just needs to get … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 8, Issue 10 · 4 Sep 2012 · 7,844 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractAn Effective History-based Background Extraction SystemSeyed Hashem Davarpanah, Fatimah Khalid, Maryam GolchinProblem statement: In many visions-based surveillance systems, the first step is accomplished by detecting moving objects resulted from subtraction of the current captured frame from the extracted background. So, the results of these systems mainly depend on the accuracy of the background image. Approach: In this study, a proposed background extraction system is presented to model the background using a … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 8, Issue 7 · 23 May 2012 · 7,002 accessesView PDFCite
