This study surveys the state-of-the-art on Wireless Body Area Networks, discussing the major components of research in this area including physiological sensing and preprocessing, WBASNs … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 8, Issue 1 · 1 Nov 2011 · 9,155 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleAn Efficient Certificate-Free Key Distribution Protocol for Secure Group Communication in Grid EnvironmentMandadi Venkatesulu, Kamatchi KartheebanProblem statement: In grid environment, group communication is an important mechanism to realize large-scale information resource sharing. However providing security for group communication in grid environment is very difficult because the group is dynamic in nature. Scalable group re-keying is one of the important issues in secure group communication. These group keys should be updated whenever a member joins/leaves the … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 7, Issue 6 · 14 Jun 2011 · 7,125 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleA New Scalable and Reliable Cost Effective Key Agreement Protocol for Secure Group CommunicationS. Jabeen Begum, Dr. T. PurusothamanProblem statement: In a heterogeneous environment, for a secure multicast communication, the group members have to share a secret key which is used to encrypt/decrypt the secret messages among the members. The Secure Group Communication of large scale multicast group in a dynamic environment is more complex than securing one-to-one communication due to the inherent scalability issue of group key … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 7, Issue 3 · 7 Mar 2011 · 6,960 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleProgrammable System on Chip Distributed Communication and Control Approach for Human Adaptive Mechanical SystemAhmad ‘Athif Mohd Faudzi, Koichi SuzumoriProblem statement: Communication and control are two main components in any Mechatronics system. They can be designed either by centralized or decentralized approach. Both approaches can be chosen based on application designed and specific requirements of the designer. In this study, decentralized or normally called distributed approach was selected to solved communication and control of a human adaptive mechanical system … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 6, Issue 8 · 31 Aug 2010 · 6,733 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleWireless Communication with a Microprocessor Based Ultrasonic Meter for Flow MeasurementsMahmoud Z. IskandaraniProblem statement: Although the traditional metering system and method for controlling flow is generally safe, reliable and robust, it does suffer certain drawbacks, such as limited accuracy and the ability to implement complex reactive rate designs. Hence, there is a need for a circuit and method of increasing metering accuracy, as well as the position control accuracy for variable flow … …American Journal of Engineering and Applied Sciences, Vol. 2, Issue 4 · 31 Dec 2009 · 7,584 accessesView PDFCite
