Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractA NOVEL PRIORITIZATION ALGORITHM MODEL BASED TEST-SUITE GENERATION USING REGRESSION TESTINGPrabhu Jayagopal, Dr. Malmurugan NagarajanThe fully automatic Graphical User Interface tool for any application using novel model based test suite generation techniques for a GUI. They are unable to control response time and time intervals are based on relationship between GUI events handlers and test cases with their responsibilities. We present a novel prioritization algorithm that enhances event handlers for the automated GUI tool. … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 10, Issue 2 · 13 Nov 2013 · 6,628 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractDECISION TREE BASED OCCLUSION DETECTION IN FACE RECOGNITION AND ESTIMATION OF HUMAN AGE USING BACK PROPAGATION NEURAL NETWORKP. Karthigayani, S. SridharOcclusion detection in face verification is an essential problem that has not widely addressed. In this study the research is deals about occlusion detection in face recognition and estimation of human age using image processing. The objects hide from another object is called as occlusion. Occlusion conditions may vary from face wearing sunglasses, wearing of scarf in the eyes and … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 10, Issue 1 · 12 Nov 2013 · 6,770 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractEnhanced RSACRT for Energy Efficient Authentication to Wireless Sensor Networks SecurityP. Kalyani, C. ChellappanProblem statement: The Security in WSN has become a challenge because of its inherent limitations of resources imposed on the sensor nodes. Authentication and key management scheme allows WSNs to be used with confidence and maintains integrity of data in sensor networks. Approach: In the WSN limited resource scenario the generation of public key done and are randomly pre distributed … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 9, Issue 10 · 18 Aug 2012 · 7,339 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractAutomatic Palmprint Identification based on High Order Zernike MomentR. Gayathri, P. RamamoorthyProblem statement: Hand geometry contains relatively invariant features of an individual. Palmprint recognition is an efficient biometric solution for authentication system. The existence of several hand-based authentication commercial systems indicates the effectiveness of this type of biometric. Approach: We proposed a palmprint verification system using high order Zernike moment that was robust to rotation, translation and occlusion. Zernike moment was … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 9, Issue 5 · 12 Mar 2012 · 7,193 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractArtificial Neural Networks Based Red Palm Weevil (Rynchophorus Ferrugineous, Olivier) Recognition SystemSaleh Mufleh Al-Saqer, Ghulam Mubashar HassanProblem statement: The most dangerous insect for the existence of palm trees in entire world is Red Palm Weevil (scientifically named as Rynchophorus Ferrugineous, Oliveir). The proposed research is conducted to develop an identification system for Automated Wireless Red Palm Weevil Detection and exterminated. The core idea of the proposed research is to develop software that can utilize image processing … …American Journal of Agricultural and Biological Sciences, Vol. 6, Issue 3 · 4 Aug 2011 · 9,187 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractSingle Core Hardware Module to Implement Partial Encryption of Compressed ImageMamun Bin Ibne Reaz, Md. Syedul Amin, Fazida Hanim Hashim, Khandaker AsaduzzamanProblem statement: Real-time secure image and video communication is challenging due to the processing time and computational requirement for encryption and decryption. In order to cope with these concerns, innovative image compression and encryption techniques are required. Approach: In this research, we have introduced partial encryption technique on compressed images and implemented the algorithm on Altera FLEX10K FPGA device that … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 8, Issue 6 · 13 Jun 2011 · 7,379 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractObject Exploration Using a Three-Axis Tactile Sensing InformationS. C. Abdullah, Jiro Wada, Masahiro Ohka, Hanafiah YussofProblem statement: To advance the robust object recognition of robots, we present an algorithm for object exploration based on three-axis tactile data that is necessary and sufficient for the evaluation of contact phenomena. Approach: The object surface contour is acquired by controlling the finger position so that the normal force, measured by optical three-axis tactile sensors, remains constant as two … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 7, Issue 4 · 4 Apr 2011 · 7,313 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractFish Recognition Based on Robust Features Extraction from Size and Shape Measurements Using Neural NetworkMutasem Khalil Alsmadi, Khairuddin Bin Omar, Shahrul Azman Noah, Ibrahim AlmarashdehProblem statement: Image recognition is a challenging problem researchers had been research into this area for so long especially in the recent years, due to distortion, noise, segmentation errors, overlap and occlusion of objects in digital images. In our study, there are many fields concern with pattern recognition, for example, fingerprint verification, face recognition, iris discrimination, chromosome shape discrimination, optical … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 6, Issue 10 · 5 Aug 2010 · 9,299 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractA Control-Oriented Coverage Metric and its Evaluation for Hardware DesignsShireesh Verma, Kiran Ramineni, Ian G. HarrisProblem statement: Dynamic verification, the use of simulation to determine design correctness, is widely used due to its tractability for large hardware designs. A serious limitation of dynamic techniques is the difficulty in determining whether or not a test sequence is sufficient to detect all likely design errors. Coverage metrics are used to address this problem by providing a set … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 5, Issue 4 · 30 Apr 2009 · 7,528 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractVerifying Complex Interaction between Hardware ProcessesKiran Ramineni, Shireesh Verma, Ian G. HarrisProblem statement: Verification of correct functionality of semiconductor devices has been a challenging problem. Given the device fabrication cost, it is critical to verify the expected functionality using simulations of executable device models before a device manufactured. However, typical industrial scale devices today involve large number of interactions between their components. Complexity of verifying all interactions becomes almost intractable even … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 5, Issue 2 · 28 Feb 2009 · 6,953 accessesView PDFCite
