Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleImplementation Wireless Adapter Interface Module with Gateway Device for Connection to 4-20 mA TransmittersWaleed Ishaq Hameed, K. Ivica, Amar Al-jzari, Yasir I. AbdulraheemWireless communication is emerging technology from the office world to the industrial world. It is important that this technique are applied by the users in industrial environments because the industrial communication underlies stricter conditions than office communication. In this paper, It has been designed and implemented wireless adapter interface module with gateway connected to 4-20 mA devices and the Differential … …American Journal of Engineering and Applied Sciences, Vol. 10, Issue 3 · 1 Jul 2017 · 8,027 accessesView PDFCite
Review ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleConnection between Endometriosis and Vitamin D – True or False?Králíčková Milena, Vetvicka VaclavEndometriosis is a serious health problem characterized by the persistence and growth of vascularized tissue at various ectopic sites such as ovaries, bowel, or bladder. Despite decades of intensive research, we are not making significant progress toward the etiology or treatment of this disease. The question of risk factor is similarly unclear, with one possible factor being diet-particularly the intake … …American Journal of Immunology, Vol. 13, Issue 2 · 12 Mar 2017 · 7,022 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleImage Super-Resolution using Auto-Encoders with Parallel Skip-ConnectionsLisha Pulickal Purushothaman, Jayasree Vadakke KadangoteSuper-resolutionimages are highly desired when employed for numerous analytical purposes andobviously because of their superior attractive visual effect. To create aHigh-Resolution (HR) image from one or more Low-Resolution (LR) images, animage super-resolution technique is used. When dealing with naturalenvironments and settings, it is not always easy to access high-resolutionimages. The main barriers to the same are limitations in acquisition methods. In … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 18, Issue 11 · 11 Nov 2022 · 6,081 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleBamboo Lightweight Shear Walls: Modeling and Identification of Sheathing-to-Framing Connections for Seismic Response AnalysisGiorgia Di Gangi, Cristoforo Demartino, Giuseppe QuarantaThe need for enhancing the sustainability of civil constructions has originated an increasing interest in the use of engineered bamboo-based products within the building sector. Nonetheless, while the static response of bamboo-made structures has been largely investigated, experimental and numerical researches concerning the response under dynamic loads are limited. Therefore, the present work deals with the assessment of the seismic … …International Journal of Structural Glass and Advanced Materials Research, Vol. 4, Issue 1 · 16 Jun 2020 · 6,943 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleImproved Statistical Speech Segmentation Using Connectionist ApproachM. S. Salam, Dzulkifli Mohamad, S. H. SallehProblem statement: Speech segmentation is an important part for speech recognition, synthesizing and coding. Statistical based approach detects segmentation points via computing spectral distortion of the signal without prior knowledge of the acoustic information proved to be able to give good match, less omission but lot of insertion. These insertion points dropped segmentation accuracy. Approach: This study proposed a fusion … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 5, Issue 4 · 30 Apr 2009 · 7,680 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titlePackaging of Herbal Medicine and its Connection to the Acceptance Rate of the Urban Population Viewed from a Biological, Agricultural, Economic, Business and Communication PerspectiveSusanne Dida, Muchtar YunusThis article discusses the packaging of traditional herbal medicine and its acceptance rate from a biological, agricultural, economic, business and communication perspective. With the many herbal medicines on market in Indonesia and across the global, many questions are emerging about the content, plant type, biological aspects, the economic value and the appropriate information necessary for public knowledge. All this requires … …OnLine Journal of Biological Sciences, Vol. 17, Issue 4 · 13 Oct 2017 · 8,812 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleThe Glia Connection of the Glutamate/Glutamine ShuttleAngelina Rodriguez, Arturo OrtegaProblem statement: Glia cells outnumber neurons but their role in synaptic transmission is still matter of debate. The recycling of Glutamate, the main excitatory neurotransmitter, carried out by the glutamate/glutamine shuttle, requires the involvement of glia, suggesting their involvement in neurotransmission. Approach: This review focuses on novel functions of glia proteins involved in this cycle. Results: An activity-dependent interaction of … …Neuroscience International, Vol. 3, Issue 1 · 3 Sep 2012 · 7,770 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the keywordsLogistic Regression with Multi-Connected WeightsAvazjon Marakhimov Rakhimovich, Kabul Khudaybergenov Kadirbergenovich, Zahriddin Muminov Ishkobilovich, Kudaybergenov Jabbarbergen KadirbergenovichResults of current research in biological and cognitive science reveal that neuronal interactions predominantly depend on neurotransmitters for signaling and sending information between neurons. Furthermore, a specific neuron that is connected to the next neuron transmits or sends multiple neurotransmitters in parallel ways, where each neurotransmitter has specific functional roles. Based on these results, a new type of logistic regression … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 20, Issue 9 · 4 Jul 2024 · 5,059 accessesView PDFCite
