Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractOptimizing Bias Detection in Tweets Using Bayesian Probabilistic ModelPrasanth G Rao, Harsha Chigurupati, Krish Hashia et al.Content moderation on social media faces persistent challenges from inconsistent evaluation shaped by subjective judgment and subtle semantic variations. This work proposes a Bayesian probabilistic framework for detecting bias in tweets using WordNet-based vocabulary filtering, statistical normalization via z-scores, and threshold optimization. The system is stateless, scalable, and dataset-agnostic, requiring no session-specific information. Unlike complex models such as Support Vector … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 22, Issue 5 · 19 May 2026 · 1,009 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractIntelligent Multi Model Ensemble for Engagement PredictionFahmida Begum, K Ulaga PriyaFor intelligent educational systems, the ability to monitor and respond to student engagement in real time is essential for enhancing learning outcomes. However, existing models often lack adaptability and practical deployment potential, as they depend on single data modalities, rigid ensemble mechanisms, and post-session analysis. This study introduces an intelligent multimodal ensemble framework designed to address these challenges by predicting … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 22, Issue 4 · 28 Apr 2026 · 1,844 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractBlockchain-NFV for Smart Digital and Secure Physical Structures in E-Government, Healthcare, and Network SystemsHayder Abdulsattar Nahi, Ebtehal Akeel Hamed, Rusul A. Salman, Akmam Majed MosaThis paper proposed a combined model that melds Blockchain technology with Network Function Virtualization (NFV) to promote many areas, such as smart, secure, and scalable physical and digital infrastructures in E-Government, Healthcare, and Network Systems. The model treats the principal objections in conventional systems, including centralization, slowed service deployment, and restricted safety. By employing decentralized Digital Identity Decentralized identifiers (DIDs), … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 22, Issue 4 · 21 Apr 2026 · 1,319 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractA Lightweight and Privacy-Preserving Biometric Authentication Framework for Sustainable IoMT SystemsSaima Anwar Lashari, Mahmood A. Al-Shareeda et al.Biometric authentication provides secure, identity-bound access control for the Internet of Medical Things (IoMT), crucial for wearable, implantable, and ambient devices. However, the inherent immutability and sensitivity of biometric data pose severe privacy risks in the event of a breach. Furthermore, conventional public-key cryptography is often too computationally intensive for resource-constrained IoMT hardware. To address these challenges, this paper proposes … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 22, Issue 1 · 9 Feb 2026 · 1,924 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractUsing Wireless Networks and Internet of Things for Enhanced Monitoring of Students During Virtual ClassSulaiman Abdullah AlateyahThe entire educational model has undergone a significant change as a result of the Internet of Things (IoT)'s introduction to the educational sector. Universities have a significant chance to take advantage of the IoT technology in a variety of ways, including data collection and analysis to improve the educational experience, promote the achievement of learning objectives, and enhance overall school … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 20, Issue 6 · 15 Mar 2024 · 5,195 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractDeep Transfer Learning Approach for Student Attendance System During the COVID-19 PandemicSlimane Ennajar, Walid BouarifiMarking students' attendance has been a challenge during the COVID-19 pandemic. It is a time-consuming task due to the abnormally high number of students present during a learning session; many studies have been proposed to improve the system. However, there are still issues with each of these systems; we have employed deep transfer learning techniques using six pre-trained convolutional neural … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 20, Issue 3 · 16 Jan 2024 · 6,010 accessesView PDFCite
