Literature ReviewOpen accessIn the abstractSurvey and Comparison of Operating Concept for Routing Protocols in DTNKawakib K. Ahmed, Mohd Hasbullah Omar, Suhaidi HassanDelay Tolerant Network (DTN) are promising techniques to enable data transmission in challenging scenarios where sophisticated infrastructure is not available and the end-to-end path does not exist at the moment of data transmission. These networks are characterized by a long delay, intermittent connectivity and high error rates. Furthermore, the dynamic topology of the network may change randomly. Therefore, routing is … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 12, Issue 3 · 23 Apr 2016 · 7,362 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractOrthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing Timing Synchronization in Multi-Band Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing Ultra-Wideband SystemsAymen M. Karim, Md. Shabiul Islam, Masuri OthmanProblem statement: MB-OFDM UWB systems have attractive features and received a great attention. It has the capability of sending/receiving data at rates in access of 100 Mbits sec-1. Owing to the sensitivity of OFDM systems to synchronization errors, a fast synchronization algorithm is required to discern for the start of OFDM symbol. Existing approaches to OFDM time synchronization rely on … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 7, Issue 3 · 31 Mar 2010 · 7,422 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessAll words, across the recordError Resistant Real-Time Transport Control ProtocolS. Shahbazi, K. Jumari, M. IsmailProblem statement: Real-time Transport Control Protocol (RTCP) protocol has been the subject of various criticisms due its problematic performance in large-scale networks. S-RTCP is a protocol with high potential as it has proved to be able to solve many problems of RTCP. It has numerous flaws on its own. This study aimed at dealing with flaws of S-RTCP and improving … …American Journal of Engineering and Applied Sciences, Vol. 2, Issue 4 · 31 Dec 2009 · 7,087 accessesView PDF Cite
