Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractAn Indoor Positioning System (IPS) using Grid ModelWutjanun Muttitanon, Nitin Kumar Tripathi, Marc SourisTo date many positioning systems are available to determine or track a user's location; three main categories include Global Positioning System (GPS), wide area location system and indoor positioning system. GPS has its limitation (poor signals) in indoor or urban uses, while wide-area location systems are cellular networks dependent. For indoor positioning system many approaches like infrared sensing, radio frequency, … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 3, Issue 12 · 31 Dec 2007 · 7,175 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractAdvanced Energy Efficient Passive Clustering Mobility in Wireless Sensor NetworksAouad Siham, Maach Abdelillah, El Ganami DrissWireless sensor networks have a wide applicability and increase deployment in the near future. In most of those applications, the network is composed of an important number of nodes deployed in an extensive area in which not all nodes are directly connected and based on clustering techniques. The Clustering can considerably reduce transmission overhead during flooding. In fact, by using … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 10, Issue 12 · 24 Oct 2013 · 6,756 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessAll words, across the recordEstimated Greenhouse Gases Emissions from Mobile and Stationary Sources in the Limestone and Basalt Rock Mining in ThailandDubsok Atima, Kittipongvises SuthiratMineral processing can become more environmentally sustainable by integrating practices that reduce all environmental impact of mining operations. Along with pollution problems, global climate change is presently one of the most important environment concerns. This research aimed to identify all potential sources and also compare the net emissions of greenhouse gases (GHGs) from the limestone and basalt rock mining operations … …American Journal of Environmental Sciences, Vol. 12, Issue 5 · 26 Oct 2016 · 8,294 accessesView PDF Cite
