Research ArticleOpen accessIn the keywordsAuthentication Model Based Bluetooth-enabled Mobile PhoneRania Abdelhameed, Sabira Khatun, Borhanuddin Mohd Ali, Abdul Rahman RamliAuthentication is a mechanism to establish proof of identities, the authentication process ensure that who a particular user is. Current PC, laptop user authentication systems are always done once and hold until it explicitly revoked by the user, or asking the user to frequently reestablish his identity which encouraging him to disable authentication. Zero-Interaction Authentication (ZIA) provides solution to this … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 1, Issue 2 · 30 Jun 2005 · 7,471 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractHybrid Fog Resource Provisioning and Resource Allocation using MKFCM and FPANagarjun E, Dharamendra Chouhan, Dilip Kumar SMThe expansion of Internet of Things (IoT) deployments has motivated the Fog Computing (FC) paradigm, which brings mobile-edge and cloud resources together under a single model. Allocating and provisioning application tasks across such environments poses challenges due to constrained resource capabilities, heterogeneity, mobility, network hierarchy, and unpredictability. This paper addresses the need for additional computing devices that prioritize delay-sensitive applications … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 22, Issue 10 · 6 Oct 2026 · 462 accessesView PDFCite
Review ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractHuman Activity Recognition at the Edge: A Systematic Review of Machine Learning Models, Deployment Constraints, and Latency Energy Accuracy Trade offsJose Antonio Rojas Guillén, Wini Ebelin Quispe Bautista, Arturo Gamarra MorenoHuman Activity Recognition (HAR) has become a key component of intelligent healthcare monitoring, assisted living, sports analytics, smart environments, and wearable computing. However, the migration of HAR models from cloud-centered architectures to edge, embedded, mobile, and wearable platforms introduces constraints related to computational capacity, memory footprint, battery consumption, inference time, and real-time responsiveness. This study presents a systematic literature review … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 22, Issue 8 · 7 Sep 2026 · 593 accessesView PDFCite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractA Simulation of Mobile-Based Bank Teller Application for Managing Waiting Time of CustomersAhmed Sakr, Omar M. Elzeki, Hazem El-BakryIn business decision-making, the queuing system is one of the options employed to satisfy the demands of a particular service system for resource needs. The queuing theory has been used successfully by various business service industries. There are many types of queuing systems that can predict waiting times and queue lengths. The First In First Out (FIFO) algorithm works like … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 19, Issue 3 · 11 Feb 2023 · 6,149 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractA Sentiment Analysis Approach for Affective State Recognition With SWISH-Activated DenseNet-169 in Human Event ForecastingKarthik Elangovan, Prabhakaran Paulraj, Dinesh Babu G L et al.Detecting human feelings from images is perhaps one of the most useful and challenging social communication problems in research. Emotion detection-based deep computing outperforms classic image processing techniques. Facial recognition technology has permeated every aspect of our daily lives, from unlocking our phones to getting private file access on our systems.
