Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractAn Efficient Neural Network for Recognizing Gestural Hindi DigitsNidal Fawzi Shilbayeh, Mohammad Mahmmoud Alwakeel, Maisa Mohy NaserHandwritten Hindi digit recognition plays an important role in eastern Arab countries especially in the courtesy amounts of Arab bank checks, recognizing numbers in car plates, or in postal code for mail sorting. In our study, we proposed an efficient Hindi Digit Recognition System drawn by the mouse and developed using Multilayer Perceptron Neural Network (MLP) with backpropagation. The system … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 10, Issue 9 · 24 Aug 2013 · 6,882 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractA Proficient Traceback Approach Using Provincial Locality Aspects to Eliminate Denial of Service AttacksS. Periyasamy, K. DuraiswamyA Denial-of-Service (DoS) attack, a menace to the availability of resources and service to the intended user, is usually by augmenting the traffic in the communication medium. These attacks originate in either ways, internal or external to a network with the aim to suspend the legitimate user from getting his/her service. The DoS attacks have been countered through various approaches, … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 9, Issue 2 · 12 Apr 2013 · 6,026 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessAll words, across the recordEVALUATION OF HIDDEN MARKOV MODEL BASED ADAPTIVE PROVISIONING OF OPTICAL BURST SWITCHING NETWORKS AMENABLE FOR UPGRADATION TO GREEN FLEXIGRID NETWORKSP. G.V. Ramesh, Prita NairCatering to the evolving bandwidth-on-demand applications requires flexible provisioning architectures that ensure fairness to both high end and low end users of internet. Dynamic classification of network paths into long and short, based on traffic dependent connection holding times and a wavelength allocation from different subsets for these categories is a necessity for implementing energy saving hybrid switching, loss recovery … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 10, Issue 5 · 16 Jan 2014 · 6,517 accessesView PDF Cite
