Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractESTIMATED AND ANALYSIS OF THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THE ENDOGENOUS AND EXOGENOUS VARIABLES USING FUZZY SEMI-PARAMETRIC SAMPLE SELECTION MODELL. MuhamadSafiih, A. A. Kamil, M. T. Abu OsmanAn important progress within the last decade in the development of the selectivity model approach to overcome the inconsistent results if the distributional assumptions of the errors terms are made this problem is through the use of semi-parametric method. However, the uncertainties and ambiguities exist in the models, particularly the relationship between the endogenous and exogenous variables. A new framework … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 11, Issue 9 · 15 Jul 2014 · 6,786 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractEGYPTIAN LICENSE PLATE RECOGNITION USING ENHANCED STROKE WIDTH TRANSFORMATION AND FUZZY ARTMAPAlaa Mohamed Youssef, Mohamed S. El-Mahallawy, Amr BadrLicense Plate Recognition (LPR) is the most important type of Intelligent Transportation System (ITS). LPR is used in many different types of ITS like electronic payment systems, toll station, parking fees, freeway and arterial management systems for traffic surveillance. Few years ago, Egyptians government changed the car license plate to include letters and numbers. So the needs for efficient LPR … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 10, Issue 6 · 28 Jan 2014 · 7,466 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractReal Time Multigraphs for Communication Networks: An Intuitionistic Fuzzy Mathematical ModelSiddhartha Sankar Biswas, Bashir Alam, Mohammad Najmud DojaMany problems of computer science, communication network, transportation systems, can be modeled into multigraphs (or graphs) and then can be solved. Nowadays, the networks are expanding very fast in huge volumes in terms of their nodes and the connecting links. For a given alive network, in many situations, its complete topology may not be always available to the communication systems … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 9, Issue 7 · 17 Jun 2013 · 7,068 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractComparative Evaluation of Adaptive Filter and Neuro-Fuzzy Filter in Artifacts Removal From Electroencephalogram SignalPaulchamy Balaiah, IlavennilaProblem statement: This study presents an effective method for removing mixed artifacts (EOG-Electro-ocular gram, ECG-Electrocardiogram, EMG-Electromyogram) from the EEG-Electroencephalogram records. The noise sources increases the difficulty in analyzing the EEG and obtaining clinical information. EEG signals are multidimensional, non-stationary (i.e., statistical properties are not invariant in time), time domain biological signals, which are not reproducible. It is supposed to contain … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 9, Issue 10 · 15 Aug 2012 · 7,087 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractConfidence Interval for Cpm Based on Dp,q DistanceBahram Sadeghpour Gildeh, Samaneh AsghariProblem statement: A measurement control system ensures that measuring equipment and measurement processes are fit for their intended use and its importance in achieving product quality objectives. Approach: The manufacturing industries have been making an extensive effort to implement Statistical Process Control (SPC) in their plants and supply bases. Results: Capability indices derived from SPC have received increasing usage not … …Journal of Mathematics and Statistics, Vol. 8, Issue 1 · 8 Feb 2012 · 7,477 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractGeneralized Finite Sequence of Fuzzy Topographic Topological MappingTahir Ahmad, Siti Suhana Jamian, Jamalludin TalibProblem statement: Fuzzy Topographic Topological Mapping (FTTM) was developed to solve the neuromagnetic inverse problem. FTTM consisted of four topological spaces and connected by three homeomorphisms. FTTM 1 and FTTM 2 were developed to present 3-D view of an unbounded single current source and bounded multicurrent sources, respectively. FTTM 1 and FTTM 2 were homeomorphic and this homeomorphism will generate … …Journal of Mathematics and Statistics, Vol. 6, Issue 2 · 30 Jun 2010 · 7,917 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractCar Safety System Using Fuzzy LogicMazin Al-Hadidi, Yasir Khalil Ibrahim, Yarob Adnan IstitiehNowadays everybody can recognize the huge increasing of car numbers on roads. Day after day, this increasing may be an indicator for changing and development. This put a lot of challenges on people and governments. One of these challenges is car accidents and there bad effects. The main aim of our proposal is to help our society to decrease car … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 4, Issue 12 · 31 Dec 2008 · 7,157 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessAll words, across the recordEnhancing Social Media Face Emotion Recognition Using a Fuzzy ELM ApproachShuchi Gupta, K. Viswanath, S. Gokul Pran et al.Our computational tools for searching, exploring, and sharing personal photographs are falling behind the rapid pace at which these images are being captured digitally. The use of automatic face recognition to categorize images according to the people in them is one potential solution. Accurate recognition on the Internet scale, however, presents the seemingly insurmountable challenge of picking out specific people … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 22, Issue 3 · 20 Mar 2026 · 1,978 accessesView PDFCite
