Research ArticleOpen accessAll words, across the recordImplementation of a Novel Control Strategy Using Fuzzy Logic Controller to Shunt Active Filter for Line Harmonic ReductionN. Senthilnathan, T. ManigandanProblem statement: Now days, power quality has been given attention due to the intensive use of power electronic equipments in all types of industries such as steel, paper, textile industries and so on. These power electronic devices induce harmonic distortion into the supply lines which gives rise to many undesirable effects. Approach: This study presents a new method for harmonic … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 8, Issue 5 · 29 Feb 2012 · 7,087 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessAll words, across the recordA Unique Novel Approach for Design and Analysis of A Robust Decentralized Self-Tuning Fuzzy PI Controller for a Multi Input Multi Output ProcessP. Sujatha Therese, N. Kesavan NairProblem statement: In the real world most of the controlled processes in industries are Multi-Input Multi-Output (MIMO) in nature. They have more than a single controlled variable that should be manipulated in order to achieve the desired control performance. Approach: Control of non linear Multi Input Multi Output processes, it is a difficult task because of the non stationary behaviour, substantial … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 9, Issue 3 · 17 Jan 2012 · 7,004 accessesView PDF Cite
