Priakanth KonguProblem statement: Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN) are formed by thousands of lightweight nodes equipped with transducers for capturing information. The captured data are transmitted using multi hop routes to a base station, also called a sink. They can be extensively deployed during emergency response, medical monitoring and missiion critical applications requiring extensive data capture from sensors.Wireless sensor network applications include … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 8, Issue 9 · 11 Aug 2012 · 6,942 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessAll words, across the recordDesign, Validation, Simulation and Parametric Evaluation of a Novel Protocol for Locating Mobile Agents in Multiregion EnvironmentRama Sushil, Kumkum Garg, Rama BhargavaMobile agents are processes that can be dispatched from source computer and be transported to remote servers for execution, have been widely argued to be an important enabling technology for future systems. Location management is a necessity for locating mobile agents in a network of mobile agent hosts for controlling, monitoring and communication during processing and it still represents an … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 4, Issue 3 · 31 Mar 2008 · 6,936 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessAll words, across the recordA Network Management Framework Using Mobile AgentsJonathan Lefebvre, Steven Chamberland, Samuel PierreNetwork management of heterogeneous networks is still hard to achieve automatically and efficiently. In this study, we present a framework that has the ability to perform network management tasks on heterogeneous networks using mobile agents. This framework handles the inability of many network devices to run mobile agents. While the main focus of the project is the framework, we present … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 2, Issue 8 · 31 Aug 2006 · 7,026 accessesView PDFCite
